Dear Members,

Does anyone has a clarity on VAT & EEDC paid for RPS Palms project. I understand that there was some judgement in this regard and RPS is charging VAT from Savanaa project @ 1.05% and is also refunding EEDC, based on this ruling.

Can anyone throw some light on this

Below is the national consumer dispute redressal commission's interim order.
We 46 residents of RPS savana started this fight in National consumer forum last year against illegal VAT demand raised by M/s RPS Infrastructures Ltd. and with continues and tireless efforts, on 2nd March 2017 hearing of this case , Court has admitted our case under Consumer protection act's Section 12(1)c.

Dear Members of RPS Palms, Has any one demanded / got any refund from the builder on account of Enhanced EDC paid by us.
As per RPS own calculation, Government had asked for 58.21 Lacs per acre, accordingly for plot of 270 Sq. Yards, it comes out to 3,18,500.00.
Even if we agree for this figure of 3,18,500.00, the same should be divided among 3 Units (GF / FF / SF)
