News of Myfaridabad Forum

As per today's meeting discussions, following are important RTI replies consolidated summary:

1. Development Works Completion of roads, water supply, sewerage and storm water targeted final estimated dates were Sep 2013/Dec 2013. For each of these 4 areas, land acquisition was supposed to be completed by Mar 2010. We have already passed 6 months. There was one more RTI reply that mentioned 2017 which was the initial estimate.

Even though Delhi Metro to Faridabad awaits final approval from authorities, Land Acquisition issues have already started taking toll. This time they are Malls of Faridabad due to which Delhi Metro has to change the route to get it pass through Center of NH-2. Today, after returning from office, I opened a letter from my home loan banker. I opened the letter assuming it may be related to some cheque issue. But, on opening it, I found that bank has raised interest rate from 9% to 9.5%. This was disappointing as we are paying lot of interest without a home to live in sight.

We should learn from farmers and have a united effort for development of Sectors 75-89. Forget BPTP, RPS, Piyush, Omaxe, KLJ etc. identities and Think of yourself as resident of Greater Faridabad.
