Haryana approves funds for Metro to Faridabad

NEW DELHI: Haryana government on Monday approved a budgetary allocation of Rs 1,588.6 crore for the extension of Delhi Metro to Faridabad. The new Metro link from Badarpur to YMCA Chowk will hugely benefit residents of the NCR city and work is expected to start in a couple of months.

I have my flat booked in Tower 1 under the pre emi interest scheme. I am facing a lot of issues with RPS as there were lot of things that was not cleared at time of booking and now getting in front. I need suggestions as how to take it up with them as talking to them, mailing them has not helped in any case.

Noticed some new shopping complex sorta of building next to Savana main gate. Does anyone know anything about it? Is it being built by RPS ?

Has any of the community members discussed with RPS regarding the late possession of the flats?Accroding to the buyer's aggrement RPS is obliged to pay a penality of 5 Rs /Psqft each month.I had recently visited the site & according to site personnel RPS will start giving possession of the 2 BHK flats by Jan 2011.Jayanta, your opinion on this matter please.

Kalindi Kunj Corridor which is expected to provide much better connectivity between Delhi, Faridabad and NOIDA has once again being delayed to 2014. Additionally, one has to pay toll money for using this as this will now be constrcuted by private company on BOT basis

Few days back, there was an article in Navbharat Times about a new tender by NOIDA authority for its part of FNG (meaning connecting NOIDA & Ghaziabad starting from NH-24 and ending near Yamuna Bank). Work is stated to be complete in 18 months.

Now, FNG stands for Faridabad - NOIDA - Ghaziabad. Where did F (Faridabad) go?

I have looked at master plan of Faridabad and it nowhere mentions FNG. Also, in NHAI records, ...

I was browsing the net and got this statement from JNU Urban Development planning

"........The Development Plan (DP) for Faridabad was prepared for the period 1991- 2011, for the erstwhile municipalities of Faridabad Township/ NIT, Old Faridabad, Ballabgarh and 38 revenue villages, altogether referred to as the Faridabad Controlled Area. The DP was prepared comprising 91 sectors to accommodate an estimated population of 17.5 lakhs by 2011.........."

So, it clearly says Population of 17.5 lakhs ...
