Geographical Location Not An Excuse

Postby dheerajjain » Sat Oct 23, 2010 11:23 am

Many people in forum give an easy excuse 'Geographical Location' for not doing anything. It is very surprising that people have given lakhs of rupees very easily to builders and now also giving huge interest are not willing to spend some thousands of rupees to travel to Delhi and attend meetings. People who are located anywhere in India have no excuse to make. Whenever we set up meeting with any builder, we plan at least 3 weeks ahead. Also, RTI applications can be filed from anywhere in India or even from across the World. Only requirement of filing RTI is Indian Citizenship.

Please understand that handful of people (15 people in last meeting) will not be able to achieve anything. Also, don't expect that these 15 people will leave their jobs and family life to fight for yourselves.

Hi Dheeraj,

I strongly agree with your thoughts. Going forward, we need more support from members of the forum whose money has been on stake for long. My support is with you and the community initiatives but somehow feel there are too many initiatives being taken and that may be confusing to many.Keep things simple and people will support you.Let me know where is the next meeting and I would be present. We all are professionals working for professional companies. Sometimes, you cannot avoid company trips and that was one of the instances when you had last meeting and I was in US. But i sincerely vouch for more hands on ground for us to get justice.

Regards
Pradeep
