Electrification & Internal Development at RPS Savana

Postby webmaster » Tue May 04, 2010 10:49 pm

Please post any updates on Electrification and Internal development at RPS Savana here.

As per the recent RTI response received from DHBVN filed by Alok Gupta, RPS has not yet applied for electricity connection for RPS Savana and they have to setup a 66KV substation for the load to be sanctioned by authorities.

66kv substation !!!! that is less than demand of 10 to 12 flats after all diversion factors.
load of a 2-3 bhk is around 5-7 kva and 4 bhk is around 6-8 kva then you may calculate the over all load of the project. it is surprising to know that they havent applied for it yet. It will also intersitng know that for how many kva DG (for back up) RPS is planning to have for this project.
What is the status of water supply and sewage have they applied for?

Hi Abhijit,

As per DHBVN in the RTI response, they quoted that 66KV is the requirement from RPS Group. We will know the actual picture only if RPS Group discloses how much they have estimated for Savana.

Several members including me have written to RPS Group enquiring when they plan to setup the substation and apply for load, but no response from RPS Group yet.

Dear Mr Jain,

Thank you very much for your quick reply. Please note that, we never had a doubt on the integrity of RPS Group for delivering the Project on time. Since we are also the stake holder of the project we are committed to the project and as an end user we would like to see all the infrastructure are in place so that People can live in SAVANA and the success of SAVANA is the Success of RPS GROUP as a whole.

We are sorry to inform that you have not reply the specific queries asked in my previous mail. We would like to know the exact status so as to put pressure on the govt authorities to act. As you know we have paid huge EDC and IDC for Infrstructure development and if the authority failed to provide the same we have the right to take desired legal action under rule of Law.

We are told by the authority that RPS has never apply for regular Power Connection for SAVANA as on date, more over we are told that RPS needs to commission a 66 KVA Substation before applying for the load sanction.

My Jain you must understand and appreciate us that we are constantly following up with various authority to help you out as being a builder you are not in a position to annoy the authorities for obvious region, and being an end user we have paid huge money and if the infrastructure are not in place then we have every right to ask the where about of our money.

I would again request you to provide us the exact status as on date so that we will plan our future action which includes meeting with HUDA/ PHD/ Elect Dept.

Status of construction of 66 KVA Substation ( When RPS is going to commission this sub station)
No of bore well dug as on date and what is capacity of each bore well.
Date by which RPS plan to start construction of Internal Roads
We hope that we will receive a straight answer on the above three points.

Regards,

Amitav Dash

Dear Mr Jain,

We as an end user appreciate the efforts put by Team RPS to deliver 8 Towers by end of this year. We are certain that you guys are burning mid night oils to realise this. Keeping in view of the same we the residence of SAVANA would like to contribute by pressurising the Concern Authority so that things are in place to some extend at the time of occupation.

To proceed further we would like to know the status on the following Points so as to proceed Further.

ELECTRIFICATION: We appreciate the efforts made by RPS to approve the electrification plan for SAVANA. This is a great effort indeed made by TEAM RPS. We believe RPS might have already applied for the sanction of Load with the concern authority. Could you please confirm whether the same has been done or not? If not then when RPS is going to apply for the same? We Understand that RPS needs to erect a 11KVA Substation at its premises so as to facilitate the supply of Electricity. Could you please confirm us whether the same has been installed or not? If not then what is the time line for commissioning of the 11 KVA Substation?
WATER: Water is a life line for human and without this habitation is not possible. RPS SAVANA needs 23,00,000 (23 lacs liter of water) Daily. Keeping in view of the huge consumption and it is evident from the RTI that water supply will be resume not earlier than 2015 by the Municipality, also this huge amount of water can not be supplied by Municipality. Keeping in view of the above facts we would like to know how RPS is going to supply water for its dream Projects? Has RPS dug the required number of Bore wells to meet the requirement? If not then how many Bore wells RPS is going to dug? has RPS applied for the licence for this from CGWC (Central Ground water Commission) and PHD Dept.? If not then when is RPS going apply for the same? Due to non availability of portable water the resident of SAVANA may depends on under ground water for consumption so whether the required testing has done if the ground water is safe for consumption after filtration?
INTERNAL ROADS:The date possession for SAVANA is nearing and its hardly few month left so could you please let us know whether the work on internal roads started and if started what is the time line for completion of the same? An if not Started then when is RPS going to start and they are planing to complete?
Mr. Jain We have only concern on the above three issue at present as you know the BSP Factor ( Bijli, Sadak, Pani) is the crucial one for any habitat. We hope we will get a fair reply from you at an earliest.

Best Regards,

I would suggest everyone should start writing to RPS Group enquiring about setting up of the electricity substation and electrification of Savana. Unless we pressurize them, RPS will delay the process and only think of providing provisional facilities. They will feel the heat if 250+ members starts emailing them on this issue.
