Please get back on this thread or call me if any of you who have shifted there or are planning to shift within session 2014-15 have their children studying in DPS sec-19. As of now, transport is not available so we will have to reach school management and request them to arrange the same.

Dear Mr. Arichwal,

I missed to answer your question "Which school from Faridabad are providing bus service in Greater Faridabad".

I am not aware of other schools but DPS bus covers BPTP Grandura, Umang Jade and Omaxe heights currently. Greater Faridabad has huge potential so I believe most of the schools would be willing to cover this area. The problem as of now is connectivity but I think we need to get together and present our cases to school management with area maps showing motorable roads and the existing number of students which get benefited if the buses start. Besides serving transport means for students, the school buses are a very good advertising mode for schools and this is a good reason why they should target Greater Faridabad area.

I feel the easier way for all is to pool and hire vans but these are not safe.

If we can persuade the Managment of Schools in Faridabad to make few points in Greater fbd as Collection Points for Students that will be a Very good service for Residents and improve the safety of Students .I think that GFWA & FAOA,GF should Take this critical issue too.

Hi Naveen Ji,

Yes, this is important issue but GFWA can only facilitate in this happening. If we go without any data, no school management will start buses for entire Neharpaar. Parents will have to join to make this happen and I am sure we have a good platform for this. I offer to compile lists for all and do this exercise for which people can send me details in below format (or parents can group together and compile these details themselves). Once the lists are ready, we just need to approach school managements with area map showing motorable roads and I am sure they would be interested to start buses.

Not as of now. My son is the only student going to this school from Savana so though I have met them few times on this, could not push much for one student. As of now, drop off and pick up is from Sec 87-88-89 crossing.

Is anyone aware of people living in Sec 78 ( Omaxe New Heights, Spa Village of ERA Redwood) and whose kids are going to Sector 19 DPS Faridabad. If yes then what is the arrangement, school bus or VAN etc.
