Any hidden cut at the time of property registration?

Dear Members,

I have a flat in Prayanam which is due for possession sometime this year. There is something shocking I have heard regarding property registration in Neharpar area, hoping it is untrue. The news is, that, property owner have to pay some 2% of property's paper value as bribe to HUDA/court fellows as their 'service share'. Can anybody shed some light on this aspect?
Considering, we all would take our possession in near future, this news has taken my sleep away .

HUDA means corruption.But we should be prepared not to pay any money as bribe to these corrupt babus. After all what will happen if we dont pay any bribe ? They can not stop the registration. It will be better to share the experience of other members also and then send complaint to DC and to media through GFWA. Only then the situation will improve. We must take strict action on this front as this situation will be faced by everyone.
