DTCP orders Colonizers to stop collecting enhanced EDC

Since some have paid EEDC and some have NOT paid I suggest the following-
Builder/developer should refund EEDC to buyer.
OR
Builder/developer shold deposit EEDC alraedy collected with DTCP against individual flat and give copy of receipt from DTCP to buyer of flat.

I think by using RTI we can find the amount of EEDC deposited by the builder with list of all the contributors and amount contributed by each, in a particular project/license.

Dr Naveen,

Now a days SPIO in the office of DGTCP, Haryana is not furnishing any informattion w.r.t. EEDC taking a refuge of "matter being subjudice".

Therefore information can only be obtained through "STATE INFORMATION COMMISSIONER" if one applies to obtain information via RTI Act.

One applicant has already approached to SIC in order to obtain information w.r.t. EEDC and we should wait for the order of SIC in this regard and subsequently all other allottees can seek information once some favourable order if pronounced by SIC.

Hi

Is there any direction from DTCP to builders regarding EEDC already collected from buyers.

Should the builder refund it OR adjust against payments falling due.

if the builder who has collected the EEDC already, and the Final court order comes ,say after the builder company gets dissolved or is not traceablen,e.g. triveni like company ,than where will the buyer go to get the refund.
