Circle rates are increased only to
- provide enchanced compensation to farmers instigated by politicians/builders
- higher loans sanctioned against landbanks of builders

Please check the HUGE amount of EDC used by govt of Haryana for land acquisition in Faridabad as per submission by DC Fbd, and CTP Haryana to the honble High Court. No reason for such high cost has been explained.

Large patches of builder land is acquired by HUDA Land Acquistion Officer at 20K psy for Public Infra works. This land was acquired by builders in 2005-2008 for peanuts.

SRS recently advertised 1837, 3+1 BHK for 68.99 Lacs, ALL INCLUSIVE or Rs3750 psf appx. This includes basic cost, PLC, EDC/IDC, parking, etc etc etc.. while Circle rate includes for registration does not include all the legal/illegal cost elements charged by builders.

The circle rates are totally out of sync with market reality therefore policy plea is a bogey by the DC and GFWA should make him aware of the situation and ask him to stop feeding greedy builders and farmers out of public money.
