Yes, you can get information about EDC and Enhanced Deposits through RTI. Unit wise details may not be available. RTI application needs to be sent by speed/registered post to

From the guidance of Umesh Ji, I didn't deposit the Enchanced EDC to builder.

Yesterday I sent the copy of Order from Hon'ble High court to my builder(Ansal) regarding Enhanced EDC. Today I received the amended Demand Letter without Enhanced EDC.

Just a query.

Based on this pending verdict, we have also not paid up the enhanced EDC till now. Earlier when we shared the verdict information with the builder, we had got a reply on mail from a manager that if we do not want to pay the enhanced EDC, its Ok but if the verdict goes in favour of HUDA, then you will have to pay the charges with interest.

Now in last few months, they are sending frequent installment pending notifications that your so & so amount is due with updated interest charges accrued till now and asking to pay. These notifications put some mental harassment & pressure.

Are they (builder- like Ansal in my case) not aware of the DGTCP letter Or they are just still trying to be-fool people, Or I would need to reach them personally with some evidences.

Please suggest.

Please find attached herewith the order issued by Director General, Town & Country Planning, Haryana pertaining to order of stay on Enhanced order,

Also DGTCP, HARYANA has directed the the Licensees( Colonizers) to refrain themselves from collecting the Enhanced EDC from their allot tees( Customers).

Please do not pay the amount of Enhanced EDC demanded by Licensees( Colonizers) until the final order of the court.

Welcome to the forum, Himanshu ! I agree Umesh Ji is very good guide and mentor. GFWA started this campaign for rollback of enhanced EDC from May 2011, started mobilizing people and funds and filed first case in HIgh Court across Haryana.

The statement of account pertaining to EDC, IDC & EEDC can be obtained thorugh RTI Act,2005.

For matching the accounts, you can also ask for Financial Statements submitted by developer to DTCP under The Haryana development and regulation of urban areas rules, 1976, rule 26 {section 5 and 6}. This statement is unit wise. So, 5th point of RTI application will be:

After a span of short time Omaxe ltd. has again started sending SMS and reminder Demand cum notice letter for payment of EEDC despite the High Court stay order.
I have a flat in Omae spa village and want to know whether the stay is vacated or it is still in force.
Should we submit any reply to Omaxe.
