GFWA : Activity Updates and Initiatives

Hello Friends and RWA representatives,

On the behalf of GFWA, we would like to update you the recent activities which has been carried out and taken up with District and CHD administration.

With the support of all of you , GFWA conducted 03 Successful protest in the past and Major Development work across Gr FBD Sectors 75 to 89 has been started after continuous follow up.

Now, as work has already been started on major development services and proper budget allocation also has been given to Local administration to execute the services.

But, you may be aware that there are some services on which work is moving at snail speed.

For the same, we had round of discussion in Jan’14 with other groups about the plan of Protest, but that was not finalized/not agreed due to one or other reason at that time. (Initiative was taken by Piyush Height Members)

So, in absence of that protest and in order to push the administration, and to raise our voice we decided to follow up with Administration and carried out many meeting in recent days.

(In the past and time to time we have taken up issue of negligence and slow progress on External Development work across Gr FBD Sectors, with Administration)

In continuation of our regular follow up, recently we submitted the Memorandum and issue List to District Administration and Marked Copy to Chief Secretary and Hon’ble CM of Haryana.

Also, we had meeting with DGTCP at CHD office and briefed him about the irregularities in Conveyance Deed and EDC Charges which Colonizers are carrying in Faridabad.

Points/Issues Taken Up :

1.Time bound Completion of Tigaon Road and Proper lighting and storm water disposal system. (Target Date : Apr’14)
2.Timely Completion of External Development Work activities (Master Road, Sewerage, etc)
3.Fixing Route of Haryana Roadways Buses and proper connectivity of Public Transport in Gr. FBD area.
4.New Police Check Post and Station across Gr FBD area in order to maintain Law and Order and proper Police Patrolling to avoid any mischief
5.Regular follow up and review mechanism on the external Development work like : Bridges, pending portion of Master Road acquisition, road from upcoming bridges to Master road and to by-Pass road.
6.Unjustified demands by BPTP in the name of various charges ( for the same, we had high level meeting with DTCP and BPTP official under Chairmanship of DG-TCP).

We received assurance from HUDA and DTP officials about the completion of EDW services by End of 2014.
(Bridges and master Road work will be completed by July14).

Further, at GFWA, we decided that we will aggressively follow up with the administration and concerned officers for speedy action and time bound completion of all services.
If no action taken, then we would take up it to higher level in different mode like protest etc..
Therefore, we feel immediate protest is not required as many issue already taken up with Local administration and CHD office.
If any protest required in future, Will work out in coordination with respective RWAs and members of GFWA.

We, GFWA, request all of you to pls support us in activities and lets make Gr FBD area best in NCR region.

What we should understand, that GFWA do not want that FAOA should do planned protest. Friends please do not be divided. I think GFWA members are also in FAOA. And our view is FAOA and GFWA , both are same but targets for both bodies are different. GFWA is working only for External Affairs, while FAOA is working for Individual Resident's common issues along with external affairs, our earlier experience says we should remind the Administrations for their snail speed should be converted to rabbit speed.

Please do not take my view otherwise. We are with both of you.

GFWA is only taking builder issues concerned with BPTP for reasons best known to them. Whereas Federation seems to be taking issues related to all builders without any bias. Federation is planning massive protests on 2nd March, 2014 in Faridabad as per communication received by our Society President. Please participate in protests for change that you want in Greater Faridabad.

We never said that we don;t want protest planned by anyone/group.
But, we just listed our acivities and we earlier planned protest and had round of discussion which was not taken off due to some reasons best known to those members.

Moreover, Mr Dheeraj seems to forget when GFWA was stand by him for many issues when he was in trouble by his builder. Anyway, rest as he decide.

GFWA has taken numerous issues corresponding to infrastructure and all builder projects in the past with officials, and if you have seen the recent coverage by NBT, both the builder and infrastructure issues are being taken up.

The above update is to keep members posted on recent activities, we have put forth view of GFWA in view of recent interaction with administration, GFWA members had a few rounds of meetings with FAOA , Piyush Heights and other associations in past to discuss about putting pressure via protest, However it didnt work out, and subsequently there have been few rounds of discussion with administration to highlight issues faced by buyers & speed up development initiatives, Considering GFWA is already in discussion with authorities, It shall be difficult for us as association to participate in protest at this point of time, however individuals are free to decide incase there is any protest in plan.

Corruption is prevalent every where , Private as well as Government.

Both should be fought with equal vigor and to say that we will not drag builders to Courts is to say that we dont care about Builder exploiting Large number of Buyers. This is ETHICALLY wrong and GFWA should give up its Policy of not supporting Buyers in Fighting against the Builders. No doubt the Buyers will Fight at the End but GFWA has to Guide them and give Moral support.

Fighting Government , we all should but what about the Builder who is sucking our Blood daily.

Nowdays, Corruption become the synonym of Cong......

In past, we taken fight against builder, but that time few members opposed that move and suggested that GFWA should not get involved in builder related issues. But, later those change the stance and supported taking builder related issue, when their builder started unjustified ,illegal demands to them and started trouble to them.

Anyway, in changed scenario, we are preparing ourselves to take builder related issues as well and to fight on both fronts.

Soon, we would inform you about the same.

We have to fight two fronts one with builders and second with administration. Everybody will agree that road work is going on but till now due to some stay from various courts and not handing over possession by the builders/individual even a single road is not through till now. Construction of bridges on Agra Canal will be completed by September, 2014 but it will be of no use without completion of bridges on Gurgaon Canal. So all the unions/welfare association working for the welfare of Greater Faridabad must be united and a joint decision will benefit all of us.
