Hi Saurabh, I agree that we should not share this information elsewhere on other forums like Yahoo! groups, Google groups etc.. I differ from you on next course of action. I believe it is responsibility of individual builder societies representatives to take these issues of non-payment of EDC to their respective builders. GFWA can surely provide guidance and relevent information on that.

Dear Mr Dheeraj Jain/ Ajay Yadav / Legal Team,

Given the present situation ( possession delays, EDC problems, land rates having gone up, ... ) where investor has only got an agreement for whatever money has been paid... whether the undivided share of land in builders name can be registered in names of the various flat allottees.

Perhaps GFWA can also thro HUDA / DC office or GFWA lawyer handling EDC case enquire & give an opinion to all GFWA members.Kindly note down this point for examination / discussion.

I believe builder is a service provider and that is why it charges service tax. Licence is for constructing housing dwellings within licenced land. After project is complete, according to Haryana Apartment Owners Act 1983, entire land belongs to owners association. Builder has no right whatsoever on ownership of land since it has finished providing services for which it was granted licence.

GFWA has got very good info abt EDC due and paid for all builders.

Similarly request GFWA to get info about electricity connection application.

Note electricity layout approval and electricity connection application are 2 different things.

Some builders have got elect layout approval but NOT made application for electricity connection.

Can GFWA get this info for all builders ?

As you know that developing greater faridabad is seems like a mammath task for all of us but we are doing our best to make this dream a possibility!!

As i understand from your mail, you want to inquire about the electrical connection status of all neharpaar builders. Its good and infact we need peoples like you who can take lead and guide us on various issues/matters.
