Water Supply in Greater Faridabad

I was browsing through below news article which says home projects in Gurgaon and Faridabad are getting held up due to ground water reaching dangerously low in these 2 NCR regions.

Now, when we talk to authorities, they talk in terms of Master Roads, Sewerage Facilities but not on Water which is also an EDC service. I believe we (GFWA) should now also start focussing on Water Supply EDC service in our discussions with Govt. bodies. As many as 2 lakh residents will be settling in Greater Faridabad planned urban societies and requirements of water will be very high. So, Govt. should come out with a plan to tackle this and start executing that plan.
