NCDRC imposes penalty of Rs 10000 for late filing of evidence by builder

Learned counsel for the parties present.

Learned counsel for the opposite parties does not press the application for raising preliminary objection but he submits that he will argue the said point at the time of final hearing.

Consequently, the application for raising preliminary objection is dismissed for the time being.

Learned counsel for the complainant wants to file evidence today. Liberty is granted to file evidence, subject to payment of Rs.10,000/- as costs, which will be deposited in the National Legal Aid Account of this Commission, till the next date of listing. Evidence has been filed today. The same be taken on record. Copy furnished to learned counsel for the other side.

The matter is adjourned to 1.7.2015, the date already fixed, for final arguments.
