Minutes of meeting with HUDA Administrator, Faridabad on 20th Dec, 2011

Participants:

Faridabad Administration: - Madam HUDA Administrator, STP, DTP, HUDA Section Engineer.
GFWA Members
Venue: HUDA Administrator office, Sector 12, Faridabad.
Date: 20th Dec 2011, 4 pm

Points discussed:-
Master Road:- Madam informed us that work for 31 km litigation free land for roads will be started from April 2012.
Bridges:- For phase-1, only 3 bridges on Agra Canal HUDA is doing feasibility study.Right now it is only in planning stage.
Other EDC Services: Madam informed that budgets for other EDC services like Sewerage, Storm Water, Water Supply are in process.
EDC rollback It is policy decision and HUDA FBD has no role.

As per DTP Mr. Maan only 2.5 km land acquisition is pending and for rest section 4 is implemented and physical possession is not taken by HUDA. GFWA does not understand then why HUDA then says only 31 KM land is litigation free.

B&R department will be doing repair of existing road of Kheripul/Tigaon road and they have estimated the budget which is almost approved.

Mr. Narendra Chhabra, Umesh Prabhakar, Raja Roy, Kumud Ranjan, Rajan, Manish Gupta and Rahul Goel, who were there to discuss and take up development related issue with HUDA administrator.

It is not going to be so easy and we need to fight against all odds (like Haryana Govt, HUDA, District adminsitration).

It is already more than 2years dealy at HUDA side, but still they are not in hurry to start the development work across Greater Faridabad area.

उन्होंने आश्वासन दिया कि अगले एक सप्ताह मास्टर रोड का बजट पास हो जाएगा। आने वाले 15 दिनों में मास्टर रोड के लिए ई टेंडरिंग की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी जाएगी। इसके साथ ही सीवर व बिजली की लाइन बिछाने का काम भी शुरू कर दिया जाएगा।

Was the above in Bold quoted by Huda officers (as this does not appear in MOM shared by Dheeraj) OR it is the imagination of reporter collecting the news from GFWA. If this was not quoted we should ask News agency to correct the statement or take care in future. Atleast GFWA should ensure NO false promises / news goes out on the name of GFWA.

It is NOT the imagination of our esteemed reporter friends from Newspapers. Above information was shared by HUDA administrator. GFWA Core Group decided not to post on forum for not setting unrealistic expectations of GFWA members. We have been following up Govt. officials for 2 years and these assurances keep on coming. We can only believe these words when actual work starts on ground. Till then, we have to keep protesting at regular intervals to force Govt. to do work

thanks Dheeraj for clarifying, facts remains facts..I dont think any one shud balme GFWA if Huda does not meet the promises made earlier to GFWA. as such GFWA was to really play role of messanger in this case..if some one does then it is unfair..

I sincerely appreciate the efforts of GFWA in getting the problems resolved related to the Developers of the Nehar Paar area.

I suggest a meeting be called of all members / well wishers and strategy be formed to deal with HUDA / Developers. Further, we need to form sub-committes for each developers (e.g. Omaxe, BPTP, SRs etc etc) as there are few developer specific issues also, which those committees might handle better.

We should take the help of the active members for the purpose. I offer my services in any manner.

Greetings

Excellent effort once again GFWA core team. They deserve applause for unstinting devotion to the causes of 1000s who cant be present physically to support their efforts.

Every logical opportunity needs to be en cashed at getting some form of commitment level form a delayed administrative setup.

GFWAs remarkable approach of under committing and over delivery adopted in this particular instance clearly indicates its sincerity to the cause and at the same time lack of trust due to false assurance being given by each and every officer for years at stretch.

I clearly recall the commitment given by current administration, after recent protest about start of tender process for master roads in DEC. Nothing seems to have happened till today and hardly 9 days left for the new year to start.

Hope all the minutes are duly signed, recorded and sent to various officers concerned to keep a track of mis commitments by the authorities.

So what is the impact of this meeting on our upcoming protest? Are we still moving ahead with our plan to protest on Jan 06, 2012 or we will wait for next 15 days to see if something really happens ? (personally I feel that even an inch will not move)

Please update us on the same so that we can plan things accordingly.
