Dear members
It was a very enriching day yesterday and we received wide variety of suggestions, Here is compilation of various suggestions\feedback we received for yesterday event.
I have tried to put one liner comments on entries, request working committee members to provide addition.
@ GFWA members : Feel free to add onto list, or provide responses.
=============================================================================================
1. Combine the meeting with some children event – like drawing competition or a social cause to make it a family event
Can definitely be considered, This was the intent of Pot Lunch we planned earlier.=============================================================================================
2.
(a)Conduct such meetings at shorter intervals Every meeting should have a MC, and structured. This will save time
(b) Have an "investor's clinic session" after the meeting where experts within the group can address Qs of various investors on topics like EDC, RTI, Liaison, Development, etc. We can have topic-wise sessions. This can eventually help-us in creating a FAQ page on the web
(c) Reach out to other associations like JP Greens, Silver Oak etc developing mutuality and strengthening our (the buyers') position in the eyes of the govt. exploring greater synergies and mutuality working towards a lobby that will influence as well as speed-up the regulatory process
(d) The meeting hall can be garnished well with visuals like photographs of our activities, development work, etc. and there could be a visual interactive session
(e) Not regularly, but once in a while we may invite some eminent personality to grace the platform. This gives a social ambiance.
(f) Lastly, our meetings should not be coupled with any other (distractive) agenda (like today's CM's visit) that creates negative vibes and the audience who come with a specific motive sacrificing a family day (quality time) might feel disappointed and it could affect future attendance.
<Very nice compilation of suggestions by Bidyyutji>=============================================================================================

=============================================================================================
6. Please put a right calculator excel in MyFaridabad.in site for individual projects for right EDC calculation and interest refund for individual projects, so that we can see the calculations on own. – Manish Kawatra (Park Grandura)
=============================================================================================
7. I am staying in Delhi, but every time meeting is in Faridabad, so it is not possible to attend every meeting, So I suggest meeting at Delhi locations also. Debanand Sahoo (RPS)
=============================================================================================
8. As school are build on green area therefore park facing charges should be returned to consumers who have paid park facing charges for area where school is built
<Several members have been fighting cases on multiple avenues – EOW, National Commission, District Courts etc, I personally don’t trust colonizer to refund money without a lengthy process>=============================================================================================
9. I think AGM should be held every six months, I suggest more time should be given for Question & Answer session – Rohit Mattoo
<We had to slightly rush up our meeting this time for CM meeting, Will try to have a longer Q & A round in subsequent meetings>=============================================================================================
10 . Requirement for public of Greater Faridabad – Dr Chitra

Steps are required to pressurize builders to handover ready flats
Have GFWA meetings in compound of different projects by rotation to bring pressure on builders
Need to expedite electricity connection
Improve response time to individual email on websites
<It would be good to continue exert on builder by regular follow up and meeting in groups
The responses to individual emails come by the forum members, We all need to actively participate in driving the forum>=============================================================================================
12. Madhav
Can RPS sell school/commercial area after collecting EDC from flat users
<These schools and lawns were always there in the sanctioned layout plan for RPS savanna, That’s a different story that the brochure shown were a different dream altogether>=============================================================================================
13. Hikmat Khan : Shiv Sai
Induct atleast one member from each society in the core committee, so that inspiration is transferred to individuals in the society
<We do have members from most housing projects in the working committee, Will share the link >=============================================================================================
14. Will GFWA take up Builder specific issues in meeting with builders one by one
What about electricity & sewage treatment plant demand by BPTP @rs 100 sqyard, Is calculation of EDC earlier + latest available
<Currently GFWA is trying to cover broader issues, and the project specific issues are being taken up by the individual project members, Most projects have representation in the working committee, and as an association we bring the common complaints to officials, example June 2011, GFWA submitted thousands of complaints for various issues like delay in possession, layout changes etc to DC office via project representatives, Similarly EDC affects all housing projects.
GFWA encourages home buyers from each project to gather together and continue to exert pressure on colonizer, We are aware that several projects have parallel yahoo/google groups on for discussions, GFWA comprises of you and us, In order for knowledge sharing across wider communities, We encourage people to share knowledge and discussion with there builder representatives. > =============================================================================================
15. Umesh Kumar, Ferrous
Better to display GFWA boards in various parts of Faridabad, specifically near DTP office, neharpar and key market places
<We do it during various events, However it is challenging to have it for longer runs, as these gets removed>=============================================================================================
16. GFWA meetings should be held every two months so that we can monitor the development work periodically; this will give us better sense of how the development is progressing and what need to be done
<We try our best to have the meeting on quarterly basis, The updates on development are regularly posted on forum>

Once in two months mini meeting post working hours say at 7 pm in public areas in Delhi example at Ansal Plaza, , Central Park, can be held
<Most of us are working in private companies and there is only entry time and no return time .. Hence it gets challenging to plan meeting on working days, By keeping meetings in Faridabad on weekend, enables people to visit in their respective project areas >=============================================================================================
