With immense pleasure It is brought to the knowledge of all that HON'BLE HIGH COURT in Chandigarh has ordered a Stay on the POLICY of Enhanced EDC on 19.03.2013 in a Writ Petition NO CWP 5835 of 2013.

The next date of hearing in this case is scheduled on 10.04.2013.

The copy of the order will be attached by later or can contact me.
I will be preparing the letters which could be sent to the concerned colonizers for the buyers who have already paid the amount and even got the registry done , in consultations, with a lawyer and will share in a later stage.
This is for the information for all and doing the needful.

Congrats, to each and every working members of GFWA who have been giving more than 100% of their selfless effort towards the cause.I guess that after the orders of the high court it becomes pertinent that the respective builders who have not deposited the enhanced EDC to the authorities to return the amount to the buyers immediately.Does the order given infer to this.

Dear Team,

Undoubtfully Great achievement. I wish many more to come in form of cancellation of the EEDC when we people are not on fault. Now efforts of GFWA Team has yielded some positive results, we must contribute more generously in term of monetary contribution. I will transfer the amount in first week of next month and also contribute on monthly basis what ever my pocket allows till the time our battle goes on.

One more thing,Let us not confuse, Hon'ble High court has stayed the EEDC so it means builder can't ask for the same till the next order of Hon'ble High Court.

Rgds

For EC/STP etc issues of BPTP another association "parklands owners association greater faridabad" is very active .With there efforts the issue of EC/STP is being examined a fresh by HUDA/DGTCP.
You will be happy to note that with the above efforts of the association BPTP has agreed fo refund a part of above charges. You will be receiving the letter from BPTP about that.

Members who have NOT yet paid enhanced EDC can use attached template with supporting documents prepared by GFWA legal team to be sent to your concerned builder. Please note that next hearing in Kurukshetra Case is on 10-04-13 and it is a possibility that stay may be vacated. If you get any communication whether positive or negative from your respective builder, please share it as it can be very beneficial for GFWA High Court case for quashing of enhanced EDC.

GFWA requires your support to move forward. Please become a GFWA member today or renew your GFWA membership. Renewals are necessary for 2013. Please follow links under Site Announcements Box above.

Hi
Greetings

Thanks Dheeraj and GFWA Legal Team for proactively sharing the relevant letter to be sent to builders, in case of demand for enhanced EDC.

Actually the stay is on the "entire EDC" (EDC+EEDC if being demanded in any case), as per the order and quoted HUDA notification in the stay order.

It answers my query in the earlier post.

This would be helpful not only to Fbd but all homeseekers across Haryana.

Cheers
