The next date of hearing is scheduled on 16.09.2013.
I know that all of the members are waiting for the disposal of the case on EEDC and we have every reasons to wait for the disposal/judgement in the subject matter.

THE JUDGEMENT IS AWAITED EAGERLY BECAUSE OF THE STAY ORDER PRONOUNCED BY THE HON'BLE HIGH COURT IN A CASE FILED BY kurukshetra buyers association Although the order of stay is applicable for entire HARYANA.

LET US THANK KURUKSHETRA HOME BUYERS FOR FILING A CASE THAT HELPED THE HOME BUYERS IN HARYANA.

WE in our country have the slow judicial process . Therefore we are supposed to contain calm & tranquility and wait for the judgement day.

I have been in personal capacity keeping absolute tranquility pertaining to the case and remain in touch with the Advocate pursuing the KURUKSHETRA BUYERS CASE and will pursue the case until it is decided by the SUPREME COURT.

There is no option but to wait till Judgement comes. Judicial Process is slow in our country. But still I am hopeful that truth will prevail.

Hi all,

Got hold of some interesting news depicting the actual face of our corrupt politicians. The Govt. of Haryana is carrying out development in the unauthorized colonies by charging a meager amount of Rs. 250/- per meter. That means, those who are crooked, the Govt. is ready to help them out & they get all the benefits at a negligible price. Whereas, the honest & income tax paying people like us are charged enormous amount in the name of development (EDC) without any development. It's really disgusting. Why can't Govt. charge from us also the same kind of amount & do the development.

Let's raise this point in the forthcoming hearing in HC & let's ensure that these clippings (Dainik jagran dated 12/09/2013) are shown to the Hon'ble Judge by our advocate, drawing the comparison between these two situations & highlighting how Govt. is trying to loot us & not ready to do any development while extending undue favours to the residents of so called illegal colonies by making all the developments at such a small cost, to gain political mileage. I am sure that most of the residents of such colonies are quite well to do and might not have paid hefty amount to get their houses.

Let our advocate suggest that on the same lines, we should also be charged proportionately in the name of EDC and in any case the question of paying interest should never arise till all the basic development has been carried out. Also, our advocate should request the Hon'ble Judge to pass an order for refund of additional amount & the interest paid by us through the respective builders with a specified deadline.

Omaxe new heights said they will not reversed the EDC charges because they haven't over charge as other builder did.

Next date is November 12, 2013. Stay on enhanced EDC continues. Also, builders are now giving undertaking to DGTCP that they will pay enhanced EDC if applicable only after judgment in this case. Please see underaking given by RPS as received through RTI here:
