Documents and procedure for possession of apartment

Postby amit7624 » Sun Feb 16, 2014 10:20 pm

Hi,

I am staying outside India and had booked a flat in Faridabad with one of the builders. Now that my flat is ready for possession, could someone please help me with the list of documents and procedure of documents required?

My builder has just sent me two documents (1) Possession letter on builder's letter head (2) three photostat copies of the Maintenance agreement with first page as photo copy of Rs 100 e-Stamp in name of builder.

Are these the only documents required? Can I provide a power of attorney document to my family member to get registration of flat completed? What documents will be involved for registration?

Please help!

Thanks,
Amit

Amit7624,

Builder can ask following documents:-
1. If property is against loan and loan is paid fully, then you have to provide NOC from bank, mortgage papers from bank which was earlier submitted.

2. ID copies, photos
