I participated in huge anti-corruption rally today (30-Jan-11) at Ramlila Grounds organized by social acitvists from all walks of life. It was a very good experience and I shouted slogans, carried banners and taken pledge for NOT voting for corrupt netas.

So, people please come forward for peaceful demonstration. In today's rally, people like us participated and it was a good success.

I request all of members to come for peaceful demonstration against HUDA for exerting pressure and complete the process of land acquisition ASAP. 29 members till now have casted votes. At least, we should learn from unity of farmers to stay united and fight for our common cause.

I suggest we should decide a date for this protest. I am sure there will be other members who are not regular/very active on forum but will join the protest once they hear on the date from their friends.

I would suggesst doing this within next 10-15 days.

I would suggest two more points:-
(1)SMS to all registered members on forum to vote.
(2)If possible decide any Saturday 1st half for maximum participation as on working days there will be issue of taking leave.

To make it more noticeable it should be on any working day when whole of the government machinery is working with full strength. Doing it on Saturday will subdue it and doing it on Sunday will not have any effect.

Dear All,

I suggest the date for our demonstration as 1st March 2011 (Tuesday) at HUDA Office Faridabad. Let us get together on the first day of the month and an auspicious day (Tuesday as per Etymology – God of War ) and it will also give us ample time to prepare ourselves for the rally.

As Mr. Sinha said, we would need to gather on a working day to have maximum impact as all administrative offices will be open. I understand a working day will be difficult for all service class people, but we would have to compromise and make arrangements to make our demonstration a success.

Our plan of action should be –

1. Draft letter for submission to HUDA, Police and any other authorities to intimate them about our proposed demonstration and agenda.
   
   
2. Draft agenda for our cause, list main grievances against authorities and builders. Support, assurance and timeline required from authorities to ensure proper fulfillment of commitment from authorities and builders. Take action against errant builders for misleading investors and delaying projects, police register FIR and complaint against fraudulent builders.
   
   
3. Volunteers required to contact local and national media houses to intimate them about our demonstration.
   
   
4. 20+ volunteers required from forum, preferable atleast 2+ members from each residential project for calling and informing all registered members about the demonstration and convince them for the cause. Initiate mass SMS to all users.
   
   
5. Create awareness though all possible means about the D-Day. Post on all real estate related forums, blogs, websites about the D-Day.
   
   
6. Suggest slogans to be printed for the D-Day.
