I have no property in Faridabad, but we in Gurgaon are also facing similar problems in our complex "Central Park II". I would like to join your demostration to protest sgainst the highhandedness of the Builders in general. We are looking forward for distinct scholar/eminent personality who can be volunteers to give speech/share their experience on Consumer awareness/Corruption/Development/Citizen rights etc on 1st March street protest at Faridabad. We will really appreciate if someone comes forward for this social cause.

We (the RWA)in Central Park2 in Gurgaon had a meeting today with STP in the STPs office. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the STP agreed to all of our contentions related to the changes in the layout done by the builder without our consent. And he instructed the builder to provide all the amenities originally promised to us. But nothing has been given to us in writing. We are now waiting for the official minutes of the meeting from the STP which will give us a clearer picture. We would advise you to immediately form and register separate RWAs in various complexes.There is strength in UNITY.
I will be happy to join your demonstration on 1st March.

It is important for all of us to start jotting down our demands, which can be used for drafting the memorandum, At this point in time we are talking at 10,000 feet level , we need to get down to ground level and get specific to the extent possible in our demands,

Start listing down all things that you think are important, you may or may not have associated facts, (that's fine for now.. we can work debate on that later)

In cases there are facts available (say master plan, rti, or any other source), please highlight the same in the point, while listing the demand

(maximum number of sectors in any development plan of Haryana)

Our demands with HUDA, DTCP and Haryana Administration are simple, concise and straightforward :

1. From HUDA: Providing of Roads, Clean drinking Water and Sewerage facilities (EDC services) to Faridabad residential Sectors from 75 to 89 ASAP. Providing connectivity to NOIDA and public transport.

2. From DTCP (Department of Town and Country Planning, Haryana) : Monitoring of builders and taking action against builders for widespread unfair practices in this area. Cancellation of licences in cases of widespread cheating and fraud.

3. From Haryana Administration : Protection of rights of Apartment Buyers who have put their lifetime savings. Taking immediate action for restoring trust of buyers who feel cheated by builders and adminisration.

Let me share our experience with STP, Faridabad. As in your case, STP listened to our concerns in front of builders representatives and was in agreement with us. She committed verbally that department will be sending a notice to builder for unfair practices. Builder representative looked upset. We had a meeting 1 month back and till date, no notice has been sent. I am pained to say that but now STP has become more like a mediation center which will give you a good feel but in reality, no action gets taken.
