“RPS Savana is setting an example by implementing dual pipe line system for ensuring ‘Zero Discharge of Water’ by recycling the waste water through ETP and STP and then using the recycled water for gardening and in toilets, thus minimising the wastage of water,” says R C Gupta, MD, RPS Group.

RPS Group works with broad social vision which not only focuses on business consideration but also value social commitments and strives to work for the social & noble cause of “literacy”. Therefore, in a joint venture with Prayas Social Welfare Society, RPS Group has started imparting free basic education to more than 60 children, whose parents (labourers) are working at the construction site of RPS City, Savana and Palms, at Sector 88, Faridabad, where students get free education, uniforms, School Bags, books and refreshment. The purpose of providing free education is to educate the poor children and ensure a secured future for them to make them better citizens.

Its just a gimmick. An extremely minimal cost initiative to earn brownie points. Anyone can see that its a farce... at least in the current situation.
CSR is much bigger & deeper than few saplings' plantation or financing a few kids (anyway how many labourers are working on the RPS site anyway!!). Social Responsibility is an intrinsic business focus rather than such random acts.
A company cheating on its customers cannot be expected to be socially responsible...can they??

My reading is that you will more such gimmicks as we go along in the next 12-18 months till they do the handover of Savana.... apart from numerous mailers trying to convince us that we have hit a goldmine by purchasing a flat in RPS project!
Cheerio.
