RTI reply from HUDA regarding increase in EDC charges

Please find attached second RTI reply for EDC charges. Positive thing from this RTI reply is that they have not included land charges while giving amount spent. Negative thing is that it is for entire Faridabad. They have refused to provide us figures for Sectors 75 to 89.

Can anyone believe that HUDA does not maintain records of expenses by area/sectors. Can we file petetion in high court for getting things transperent.

I agree, we need to be prepared for legal option also in case Govt. increases EDC charges

We are not concerned how HUDA maintains records. We should ensure is that misappropriation of funds
does not happen and prevent FRAUD. We should ask for the documentary evidence from HUDA and I am sure that HUDA must get its accounts audited. We should ask for the Audit report and act accordingly if required.

We will fight against the corrupt officials within HUDA and ensure that they are terminated from job.

Can HUDA use funds collected from a particular location to a dirrerent location.

I think we should file an application under RTI seeking the above clarifications.

How can we legally ask HUDA to provide the details of expenses incurred in Grater Faridabad. Moreover, can the courts' of law direct HUDA to provide these details?

LETS CONCENTRATE ON HOW WE CAN GET THE CORRUPT HUDA OFFICIALS BROUGHT TO JUSTICE. WE CAN ASK FOR A LOT OF INFORMATION THROUGH RTI. I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT WE CAN DO A LOT IF WE ARE WILLING TO. WE ARE CLOSE TO OUR OBJECTIVE AND LETS SRTIKE THE IRON AS IT IS HOT.

dear friends,
we should form an association of the buyers in greater faridabad and submit a PIL at Punjab & Haryana high court against the builders and ask compensation for delayed possession as per agreed terms.

Hi All,
One point which I failed to mention in my previous mail, I plan to keep my EDC complaint separate from other complaints on builder-related issues.
Guys, thanks to some active members of GFWA, whose efforts have helped us approach the DC, HUDA and CM's office. After yesterday's meeting, DC and HUDA in unison suggested all Neharpar flat buyers to file application/complaints on their builder-related issues. So, now there is a genuine/sincere desire from the govt authorities to help/protect our interests.

I read your post of 2011, did u finally pay the Enhanced EDC to the builder ? i was just curious to know, since i have received a demand letter with Enhanced EDC and i have not paid it yet.

i have got a flat in imperial estate.the revised edc is Rs 296.24 per sqare feet. is it justified ??
does anyone have HUDA letter showing the revised EDC rates?
