Hi all,
As planned, we are meeting on coming Sunday to have GFWA General Body meeting as per below schedule and agenda.

Venue : Town Park, Sec-12. Faridabad (Route map is attached herewith for reference)
Date : 19th June' 2011 (Sunday)
Time : 9.30AM
Duration of Meeting: Aprrox : 2hrs

Discussion Points /Agenda:
a) Updates on Builder's complaints submission to DTP and DC.
b) Updates on External Development by HUDA administrator.
c) Action Plan against the rise in EDC rate

Note :
1. Town Park is selected as venue because; many peoples are visiting their respective projects on weekends and on the way they can join this meeting also.
2. Pls carry water bottles with you.

Additional Note: GFWA Team also tied up with Rotary Club of Faridabad for the Blood donation camp. Members can donate blood soon after meeting is over. GFWA team members will assist you to reach up to the venue of Blood donation camp and will provide all necessary help as and when required. This is volunteer blood donation camp.

Hi Ajay/ Dheeraj ,

We were all hoping that this time the meeting will be there in any centrally located place like CP.
From the last two time we are meeting up for various reasons like meeting DC or HUDA admin etc. The inernal core group meeting was also held in FBD and I was not able to join you.

For people like me coming from gurgaon everytime is really difficult, so kindly schedule this meeting at place where all people can come.

Regrd theie project site visits.. this will always be the case for some members but we all members at large are meeting here for a common cause to dicuss the future actions.

So do have thought on this to shifting to CP.

Dear Dheeraj / Ajay,

If we have an estimation of the legal expenses (atleast preliminary) to be incurred in going the legal way for the EDC increase, then funds can also be collected from the members during the meeting.
People can deposit online as well as give cheques because I think we will have to take the legal route and sooner we do it the better it will be. The builders will be soon sending the letters for this increase.

I travel from Dwarka for these meetings and can understand the concern on request for central location, This is something on chart and we definitely want to have it convenient for maximum members, Currently the circumstances are such that we need to have it in Faridabad, however for subsequnet meetings we would definitely try have it in CP or other central locations, or will try split up/have individual location specific meeting in future, But we need to involve more members as active members for the same, who can drive or take this forward in his/her location regionally

May we request you to come forward and take lead and share ideas in the 19th meeting in Faridabad. Hope to see you all.

There are some reasons that we planned meeting to be in Faridabad:

1. We are planning to meet DC at his residence on Sunday. If we are having a large group, only then that can be done.

2. People can visit their projects at Faridabad

3. We have tied up with Rotary Club of Faridabad for blood donation. That is for getting involved in development of Faridabad

We already stated working on the legal aspects of EDC increase and after completion of planning we will go for next step.

Expense estimation is already on cards.
Yes, in Sunday Meeting we are anticipating maximum members and contribution to GFWA account.
We would be issuing on the Spot Membership form and cash receipts.

As Seema and Dheeraj already briefed about the Venue, we already considered the next meeting venue somewhere in delhi.

So I request, all Forum members to pls join hands with us to fight against the Builders, Govt administration.

Special Request to Registered RWA of Greater Faridabad region : Pls join us in large numbers.

Here is the brief of Meeting Proceedings:

First of all, Thanks to all members who joined this meeting.

There were more than 60 peoples from different societies who came down to attend this meeting. Peoples came down from Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon and many more locations to attend this meeting.

These peoples are the victims of builder’s malpractices & cheating and also worried about the delay of the external
development of Greater Faridabad area.

GFWA team briefed all members about the current working and future plans.

#1 Every member agreed to go on Protest, If Govt is not going to take strict action against Builders.
(All members were concerned that what govt is doing for more than 1000 complaints. Here everybody is doubting the seriousness of govt against the builders. Peoples are thinking that now there is no difference between builders and Govt (either it is DTP, DC or HUDA. It seems Govt. is joining hands with Builders)

Concern Point : Peoples are supporting the Protest, but very few are ready to participate this on weekday. We are more than 1200 members on this website, if we all stand in front of any Govt. office, then they will listen whatever you say... So come forward…it is your Fight.

#2 PIL to be file against Town and County Planning for their Public Notice for the Rise in the EDC rate.
(There is not a single penny spend on the development of area and home buyers are already paid EDC charges in year 2006 ~07. Now without any ground work Govt is increasing the EDC and putting extra burden on Home buyers.
We will ask govt.-
What they have done for the development of that area till now?
Where is the our Money gone, which we paid long back?
What is the Interest earn by Govt on that EDC amount?
What is the Total expense proposed and what is the shortfall in the development expense?

PIL filing is not an easy job, it requires lot of money and efforts.

Request Point : All members are requested to pls make payment to GFWA account at the earliest, as we needed money to file the case. Peoples are thinking that if i won't pay, it will not make any difference, due to that only we are not getting much contribution. This fight is not for any single project or single person…it is for Whole Greater Faridabad region and for you peoples.


#3 All Members moved to DC –FBD residence, after meeting, to show protest and to intimate him about the seriousness of the issue. But DC was not in the Town, so all come blank handed.

#4 New membership drive started to join more peoples for fight against builders, DTP, HUDA administration, and to File the PIL.
#5 Now every member will communicate to his friends about GFWA and http://www.myfaridabad.in for joining.
Please use all communication methods, SMS, MEDIA, PHONE CALLS, LETTERS etc.

Govt is not listening to our simple and proper approach. Now we will take a different route..in which Govt officials likes to listen.
