Hi All

As this community grows, it can also open up channels to start generating revenue in near future. There are thousands of homes coming up in Neharpar and in some of the societies people may start getting possession in next six months, Residents of Neharpar may be a good target audience for companies like Paints -Asian Paints/Nerolac etc, Home Furnishing, Small Time Interior Designers, Lights and Decor, Gardeners, Local Yellow Pages and so on ...

Noone would pay for our battle, but if we want to generate revenue, we may approach some of these kind of companies and depending upon the amount generated, the money can be used for various activities like web site development, Promotional activities/Get togethers and proceedings/hearings related to Greater Faridabad Infrastructure development, etc

At this point in time we are nearly 450 people primarily from RPS, which may not be a very encouraging number for companies to consider and advertise with us, Hence we also need to find out ways to reach out to thousands of folks who have booked apartments in Greator Faridabad and spread our community.

Currently Jayanta is primary person working and putting majority efforts in establishing and maintaining website, including finding sponsors. There are a large pool of people in our forum who have significant experience in sales and marketing , It would be helpful to have a few volunteers who would be willing to provide suggestion and take this forward.


As a reference we may also check "Common Floor" a similar website, Which has been rated among top 25 companies doing good buisness by Outlook Magaine.

Hello Friends

Considering we have more than doubled over past few months, I would like to resend this thread to seek suggestion from fellow members over the topic -

Few families have already shifted in this year to their apartments in Neharpar, and by this year end, several more builders may start offering possession. In case someone has contacts can we use some sections of our website as yellow pages for us a target audience. Currently we are relying on google ad's which is only providing builder related advertisement, which somehow doesnt match too well with our work, whereas we may be a good target audience for several companies like - Interiors, Furnishing etc..

Further are there any legal implications we need to consider while using site for revenue generation.. I dont think we would anyways be in position to earn much, still would be good to understand the legalities

Dear All
Thats very true that now time has come that we can explore all the options for the sponsers. For this ,we need wide publicity also which we have planned through thread " ideas to promote GFWA".
Pamphlet work should be completed till Sunday and in that we can add a line in the last " Please contact for the advertisement in our website www.myfaridabad.in ".
Each GFWA member can paste the pamphlet or mini Poster at the back of his/her car too.
As well as GFWA can start sending the letters to Companies like furnishers,paints,Interior designer, local doctors,hospitals,PGs ,restaurants etc with introduction of GFWA website and welcoming for the advertisement and "rate plan".
Lets start with something.....

I have a suggestion for very good fund availabilty by way of sponsorship.The members can share the pros and cons of the same :
Our forum is becoming stronger and we are marking our presence felt in the media and administration. It has become well known fact that this forum is genuinely and sincerely concerned about the speedy and proper development of the Neharpar Area. We are fighting for our cause and it is bringing in some results though not as good as we wanted. This may also be due to the fact that the forum is lacking the funds which are required at this stage to agrressively push our cause through Print and Visual Media, through Demonstration, through legal means.
This will benefit the thousands of persons like us who have put all their savings in Neharpar to get a house of their own. But incidently this is also helping a segment which is making good money because of our efforts towards development. This segment consists of the Property Dealers and Financers who are silently cashing in all the oppurtunities of growth in Neharpar. This segment is benefitting the maximum because of our forum efforts therefore and shall always be willing to deploy good funds in our forum as it will help them a lot. It could be a win win situation for everyone provided the issue is PROPERLY AND CLEVERLY HANDLED.

Not only this, Every local business in faridabad should be interested in advertising his business on GFWA website. people living in faridabad will also be benefited with this development. they should be pursued to contribute in the efforts. people living nearby will be benefited hugely by these activities. we need to make them aware about our efforts. distribute the leaflets in nearby area and ask them to join the cause.

Fixing a rate plan would be difficult as rates would be different based on client, type of business, organization, type of advertisement, etc..

However I will try to design a pamphlet with the USP of advertising on myfaridabad.in and please feel free to go ahead and talk to interested parties for advertising on the website.
