Would encourage all the members who have not contributed to make this small contribution for a better cause.

As mentioned earlier, please remember to submit the online form with the payment details so that we can keep a record. The online form submission is mandatory for all making payments through NEFT, Cheque or Cash.

Also remember that you need to be a registered member at www.myfaridabad.in before you submit the online form. Registration at our website is a separate process which must be completed first before submitting the online form for GFWA contribution.

In principal I agree with the GFWA cause and contribution, but I'm afraid I don't agree with the GFWA "Terms and Conditions" and see no reason to share extremely personal details like ID card (in my case my passport as am based in UK). I don't mind doing voluntary contribution without agreeing to GFWA T&C.

I believe in sharing of information and freedom of exercising that information for good cause of the community. Being in UK, I've limited access to development info in Faridabad, I joined the Myfaridabad.in to be up-to-date with what other RPS customers are going through and share experience and feedback on how to handle situation intelligently.

I do acknowledge all the efforts put by people and that is indeed commendable.

Sharing of information and updates should not be subject to cash contribution, in my opinion. However if thats the only way to get update on RPS developments, then I am more than happy to do cash contribution and get updates on RPS developments without agreeing to GFWA "Terms and Conditions". Please let me know how can that be done.

GFWA is a registered association, If a user only makes payment, but does not fill registration form or agrees to aims/objectives of association. we are not in position to count such users as part of our association.
<an example could be the number of GFWA members impacted by enhanced EDC, unless user is member of association, he/she cannot be counted in our activities>

Moreover if we are taking monetary contributions from any user, It become important for us to have clarity on the identity of such users, Hence we request users to submit some identity proof while registering with GFWA.

At this point in time, GFWA specific activities and discussions are covered in paid member service, whereas project specific discussions are available in respective forums. Please refer to RPS forum for discussions specific to the associated project

You have raised a valid point.

The reason why we ask for ID proof while registering as a GFWA member, is to some extent prevent any anti-social or unwanted element from registering in our association. Even though it is impossible to verify each and every credentials of the individual member through the documents, we need to keep a record of the identity of the person.

Since we are also accepting payment, it is even more important to keep documents for records. If in the future there is any audit or scrutiny by any government agency, we would need papers of the members. Further, for any international payments, we are required to keep documents of the person making the payment since there may be questions on the source of international payment on security issues.

It is mandatory for members to accept the T&C as every organization has certain rules and policies which the members must abide. We had an incident in the recent past when we had submitted builder specific complaints to the various authorities from GFWA, we received a notice from a allottee that GFWA did not have his permission to submit complaint on his behalf to the authorities and he had not provided any confirmation to use his name in the complaints, even though one of our GFWA members had verbally spoken with him and taken approval before submitting the complaint. The notice was sent to GFWA, copied to the builder and DTP. This kind of scenario throws a bad light on GFWA.

If the ID proof related to you contains sensitive information, you can always provide an alternative ID proof like DL, Voter ID card. Be rest assured, all information and data we collect are kept confidential and secured within a limited group.

Hi NRI-UK,

Reason why we ask for membership fees of GFWA is because GFWA is involved in various activities for welfare of residents that require money. To give you an example, currently, GFWA is involved in legal case for rollback in increased EDC. We are spending Rs 2.1 lakhs in lawyers fees alone.

Would request mr Sanjay Arora transaction dated 09 -07-2011 to write to us ASAP, we need to verify if the amount transfer is intentional.
