Mass Protest against HUDA ,DTCP and Haryana Govt for neglecting Greater Faridabad- Sunday 13th November 2011

Request you all to block your calender Sunday, 13th November 2011 for a mass protest against Haryana government for eating up all our hard earned money and not providing us even the basic infrastructure

The 1991 Master Plan holds no visible results even in 2011, Is it going to take centuries for people to see even basic development in Neharpaar????


As most of you have been stating, Its time now ........

We are going to requiring a lot of support from all of you, in organizing the event, raising momentum, bringing media, Its our fight, and together we have to make it a success.

Each one of you count, and Each one is important, Please make sure you schedule your other commitments accordingly and be present with your entire family. The exact location for gathering will be provided shortly.

I am with this protest. Keep in mind to some thing mildly unlawful. Only then the authority will listen. Like- gheraw of DC house, protest in front of MP house.

I think its a good idea to protest against the Govt. for "Non Development" issue...The repeated protests will definitely pile on the pressure on the Govt. / Govt. Officers..
But would it be worthful to protest on Sunday..!!!, when all the Govt. / Private offices are closed and nearly 30-40 % less traffice on roads...When the DC, HUDA Administrator or Govt. Officers are not present in their offices and might not be at their homes, they will be least bothered whoever is saying whatever in their absence, anywhere....
Its like roaring in a Jungle with so Many guns and with so many hunters when Lions are not their..
Dont we need to protest in front of full strength Govt. Offices so that the noise we make can spread to everybody's ears upto top level....that..." WE HAVE COME, WE ARE SO MANY, WE HAVE GATHERED, WE ARE UNITED AND WE NEED WHAT WE HAVE PAID FOR"..

We initially wanted this to be a prolonged protest of 3-4 days duration(potentially from Thursday to Sunday), This wold require atleast certain percentage of people to be present on each of the days, Basis the inputs received during general body meetings and otherwise, We may have challenge mobilizing the people on work days. Hence the suggestion to come in full bolt when maximum can attend.

Few of the other reasoning that came out is - The last protest was on a working day, However we couldn't meet any of the official's as they weren't present in office, Possibly this time together we can reachout to their homes, Given our strength of 2000 plus members, Hope they would get the point that we are serious about it, and cant be taken for a ride.

We need numbers and this can happn only on Sundays. A symbolic protest may be kept on working day and the mass protest may be kept on the sunday.


It is very good idea to have march from HUDA office to the HUDA administartor / DC homes.

I think GFWA should play the important role in it and they should hang the banners at all the builders sites to appeal the investors to join for the protest becasue I am not sure how many guys are attched with this forum. The banners should be hanged in 15 days advance from the protest day. In addition of this, GFWA should depute the self volunteer at the site with mikes and speakers on weekends to make aware of protest agenda to the other investors.

Some definite drama and special acts are required to bang the bumps of the HUDA.

Agree with most members. Banners are a must two wks in adv to generate awareness. Let us also use social media site as much possible. I think, core team should issue a press statement to all major dailies so that they can cover up the event. Any body from media or contact with media fraternity (let's learn from Anna movt)?
It's imp to have a list of volunteers who are willing to work extra on this project.

It will be better if all of us participate in the protest with our family members so that the politicians/HUDA should see that if they do not do their duties then the investors of Neharpar will do their duties in the General Elections as and when the same are held in addition to Hon"ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana. This will happen only when we should think it is our duty. No purpose will be solved writting comments on the GFWA sites like paper lion.

ARE WE REALLY SERIOUS ABOUT OUR RIGHTS AND READY TO FIGHT AGAINST HUDA FOR NON DEVELOPMENT WORK?

We need your support to make that protest a great successful event, so that Govt. can think that we are not helpless peoples.

Don't live with Problems, stand up against them.

Hi All,

The government machinery should understand the seriousness of the issue. There was an issue in Noida extn and it got resolved within 2 1/2 months and there is an issue in Greater Faridabad to which there seems to be no end.

Why is it so? Lets do some brainstorming and answer ourselves.

- Does human agony not have the same value? If central govt and courts can be so active seeing the plight of Noida extn investors, why not for Greater Faridabad?
- Is future of our children less improtant?
- Are all our financial/personal plans just at the mercy of handful of cheats?

Lets all join with our families so that our seriousness to the issue is reflected.

Regarding banners, posters etc, it would be great if people can volunteer for this. In case anyone wants to volunteer, send a mail to vineetmis@gmail.com, yadav_ajay@indiatimes.com or s1joshi@gmail.com. Mention your location in the mail and if you can help in a specific activity(e.g. poster/banner making/ pasting or pamphlet distribution in your area etc), preferably please mention the same. Moreover 13/11/2011 is the sunday & all of us may devote the time for this cause. It w'll be most pathetic aspect for this struggle if we fail to stand together.

I hereby promise to attend this protest leaving all important work aside bcz this cause is MOST IMPORTANT.

Continuing the support for the 13th Nov "showdown", and in the light of the NOV1 date with fate for the Public Interest Litigation against "Unscrupulous increase in EDC", I have drafted a small piece on the eve of diwali.. I would request any suggestions as I wish this to be posted to all the editors of newspapers across India. Any and every input shall be appreciated.......

"Its going to be another challenging day for investors in Faridabad on the 1st of November, the date for the next hearing in PLI filed with P&H High Court about the Unscrupulous rise in the EDC charged by Huda..

Those in know, would be aware that many individual investors as well as a local, home grown association rising to the cause of the deprived, "The GFWA (myfaridabad.in)" had taken a brave step of going the legal route after investors have succumbed Unjustified and unwarranted increase in EDC by HUDA without any development for last 6 years!!!.

For those parting with their lifes savings to pay the builders, for 6 long years now is an uphill task. The aspiration of owning a dream house is still a long way to go, some say another 3 years for development of basic amenities and external infrastructure, contributing to the woes of more than 50000 unit holders across 2500 acres of "govt approved" and "licenced" residential areas as per master plan.

The sufferings have not stopped here and continues to afflict aspirants struggling to deal with homelessness due to missed deadlines by Developers and Huda for internal and external infrastructure development resulting in "delayed" or more aptly defined as "denied" possession to homes which are rightfully theirs.

This deplorable situation has been further exalted by weight of Interest rates, increased by Govt 11th times since 2010. Adding insult to injury is this severe jolt of increased demand for EDC/IDC by Huda for this area.. The EDC/IDC cost towards development of sewerage, master roads, electricity etc now constitute a phenomenal 15% appx of the total cost of a typical unit, "possibly the highest in the country". Reason as many understand for this indiscriminate rise is "inaction by Huda" which has increased the cost of acquisition, material, manpower manifold to 419 Cr appx from a mere rough estimate of 130 Cr appx 5 years ago. Should Huda and administration be charged for dereliction of duty resulting in causing financial, mental and psychological sufferings to those affected??

The plight of families is miserable, as they are trapped between the monthly payment of Ever Increasing Rent and EMIs to banks causing them lack of dignity, insecurity, homelessness and possibly default.

High time State Govt and administration wakes to save the aggrieved and protect the “Right to Life" under Article 21 of the Indian Constitution and relevant UN laid International Covenant on Economic Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR) to which our country is a signatory. Some are apprehensive that increasing burden of such accesses may lead to "destitution", "lawlessness" and more "legal ramblings" if things are not brought under control.. Already there have been massive protest on streets, chowks, parks, public places, Huda office, DC residence and the public displeasure is increasing by the day. All that people have achieved is assurance out of numerous meetings with people from administration and the ruling party but unfortunately, no execution.

Hope good sense will prevail and the High Court hearing would be ruled in the favour of grief stricken end users who are now hell bent not to vote in favour of the ruling congress govt in the next elections. "
