Dear Anand

Majority of us have not paid the enhanced EDC. Recently, I received new demand letter and at the bottom, they again ask for enhanced EDC alongwith Rs 10,000 interest. I am little bit confused. Piyush heights will start giving possession for 3BHK by March 2012 and if enhanced EDC is not payed then they will not give the possession. Tricky situation, please also join, piyush group at yahoo sites. On this site, you will get regular inputs from piyush height members only.

We have also filed a case in Chandigarh High Court against increasing EDC and next hearing is in end of January. Keep your finger crossed and wait for high court judgment. We as a group are hopeful that judgment will be in our favour.

Hi Hemant,
Many of ud have tried talking and reasoning witg Piyush Group, but, they are not listening. They are in a belief that all their buyers are fools with loads of surplus cash.
After meeting with them, the conclusion we have drawn is that legal case is the only way to confront them.
There are many members of Piyush Heights who are in process of filing case against their unreasonable and illegal demands.
You may join us, as more and more people get together, our case would get stronger.

The status remains as it was. The builder is playing it's game, the pressure tactic.
The option available with us consumer court n we should go through that route.
Many of us have decided and are going ahead with legal case in consumer court. Rgds, Anubhav

We can send another registered letter/e-mail to Piyush Management this time also attaching RTI reply as evidence that thay have not paid even original EDC collected from us to Govt. RTI reply is freely available for GFWA members in GFWA exclusive section.

We should clearly mention to Piyush Group that first deposit original EDC collected from us to Govt. and then only demand enhanced EDC. I will be sending an e-mail and speed post tomorrow. As it is clear from Chandigarh Audit Team officials, there is no pressure from Govt. on builders to pay enhanced EDC as policy is under review . But, they expect all builders to pay original EDC immediately which is a reasonable expectation. Also, officials told that if any builder issues a written threat with respect to increased EDC, then that e-mail or communication should be forwarded to Chief Accounts Officer(Mr. S.D.Gautam), Directorate of Town and Country Planning Haryana, Sector 18,Madhya Marg, Chandigarh-160018 with a copy to Director, Town and Country Planning. Action will be taken against builder.

I wish to inform that I am the buyer of flat H-715, Piyush Heights, Sector 89 in Faridabad.

With reference to my previous e-mail below on August, 31, 2011 and speed post sent on 3-Sep-2011 for which I have received no reply, I am again
sending you my concerns related to enhanced EDC. As is clear from attached RTI reply dated 21-Dec-2011 received from Accounts Officer, Directorate of Town and Country Planning, Chandigarh, Haryana (Please see S.No. 56 on page 10), you have NOT even deposited a single rupee from Rs 2,45,832 deposited by me as EDC/IDC to Piyush Buildwell India Ltd in November, 2009. Last EDC deposits that you had done was in 2007 and more than 90% of even original EDC amounts are outstanding with Govt.

Hence, it is a request to you for taking actions below:

1. Firstly, deposit original EDC collected from me to Govt.
2. Show me the proofs of deposit to Govt.
3. Share and justify the detailed audited calculations of EDC (original + enhanced) that you have done for arriving at this huge figure of approx Rs 4.5 lakhs
