Town and country planning department, Haryana under the signatures of Mr. T C Gupta, IAS, Director, Town and country lanning issued a public notice which was published in all news papers states that :
All the colonizers who have been granted licences in Faridabad under the provision of the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Act, 1975 and Rules, 1976 thereof, are hereby informed that the Haryana Urban Development Authority vide Memo No. HUDA-CCF-Acctt-I-2001/17904 dt. 25.5.2011, has conveyed the following revised rates of External Development Charges ( hereinafter reffered to as EDC) for Urban Estate Faridabad for the calander year 2009 :-
For plotted Development Rs. 58.21 lacs per gross acre
For group housing Scheme with 400 PPA density Rs. 232.84 lacs per gross acre
For low lost affordable housing with 600PPA density Rs. 174.63 per gross acre
For commercial area including neighbourhood shopping Rs. 271.84 lacs per gross acre
2. These rates are applicable for the sectors from 66 to 89 on the eastern side of the Agra Canal and in respect of the balance unsold area as on 1.1.2009 of all sectors in the western side of the Agra canal.
3. These rates are applicable for furtther four years i.e. upto 2013 by increasing the same by 10% p.a. on compoundable basis. On the same pattern, these rates will be made applicable for the calander year 2005 to 2008 after reducing same by 10% p.a. on compoundable basis.
4. The EDC for the licences issued beween calender year 1997 to 2004 will be charged as per EDC rates finalised for the year 1994 vide memo. no. HUDA-CCF-Acctt-I/6305 dt. 1.3.1996.

a) Is the builder charging from us strickly as per above order/ notification.
b) Is the EDC being reduced for the period 2005 to 2008 by 10 % p.a. on compoudable basis ?
anyone knows the answers . Pl. Clarify
