Dear All,

It was a good start to our Greater Faridabad meeting and a good number of people turned up at the venue. We had about 22 members joining in from Piyush Heights, RPS Savana, RPS Plams & BPTP for the meeting. The minutes will be published here soon.

Discussion:

• Deeeraj Jain from Piyush Height was entrusted the task to lead and address the meeting.
• All participants were welcomed. It was appreciated that we are together for the common cause.
• The members raised their concerns regarding external development at Naharpar and slow progress by builders.
• The major concern was how to take a lead with HUDA who is responsible for development of Sector 75 to Sector 89. It was informed that at least 1000 residents with stay in piyush height and around 50,000 residents in Naharpar. HUDA has collected huge sum of money from the builders in the form of External Development Charges (EDC) and nothing is seen on ground in the name of development.
• Farmers are keeping HUDA at their feet as they are united and protesting. Their demands are met by HUDA. A similar protest is required from the investors.
• It was agreed to form Resident Welfare Association first and register at the earliest. An expenditure of about Rs. 4,000 – Rs. 5,000/- shall be needed.
• A contribution of Rs. 200/- was agreed among the members and collection made. List is attached.
• Mr. Pankaj Bhasin and Jayanta Barua will initiate for formation of legal association.
• It was agreed to interact with Mr. D.K. Motiwala who has experience is registering the association. Mr. Deeraj will provide support.
• A draft letter to be sent to HUDA on behalf of association shall be prepared by Mr. Pankaj Bhasin and Jayanta Barua.
• A protest infront of HUDA office shall be made as soon as possible.
• The association shall be registered in the name of : “MY FARIDABAD WELFARE ASSOCIATION”
• The Executive Committee and Members to form an association were nominated during the meeting.

• The efforts have to make to bring more people to the forum in particular who are not accessing the internet in order to strengthen the association.

I could not stay in touch due to some prefixed assignments....Well, I patiently read all the mail/posts and am very exited about the forum and association formed.

Since I am presently not in India (would return by 16th Sep), I shall be glad to be a part of the assoiation and contribute maximum.

Please find attached the "Income & Expenditure Statement" as on 4th Sept.

In my view if we submit a general application to HUDA, Electricity, Water, Sewerage and BSNL department requesting expedite the development works of land, water supply, Electricity, Telephone etc with name of the future residents as attachment. Let see their response and action in this regard.

yesterday I talked one property dealer in Faridabad. He was telling that sector road construction work has been awarded to BPTP. They are starting road construction from 1st Nov 2010 and all internal roads will be constructed in one year. He was telling that HUDA has wake up now and will start Infrastructure development works shortly.
He was saying that although RPS will give possession by March 2011, but can not live comfortably until 2012. Property Prices will boom after 5 years.
so wait till 2017......

Dear Akhilesh, property dealers should be last persons we should trust. Without land acquisition, HUDA can't award contract to BPTP. This is a ploy by BPTP to sell their new project PARK ARENA. It is true HUDA has waken up but it is too late and they find themselves deadlocked with farmers.
