I am also in. My flat is SRS residency.

Today there is news in TOI stating that on RWA case Chandigarh court has asked from several builders in Gurgaon (including Raheja and Ansal), the reason for no payment of delayed penalty. It is high time for us to start legal process.

Now I think penalty amount is approximately above 1 Lakh, varying tower and project wise.

You can form a society as AWA(Appartment Owner Association) or RWA(Resident Welfare Association) under Society Registration act 1860,minimum 7 members are required to register a society.More you can google or consult lawyer.

HC puts Gurgaon property developers on notice

Chandigarh, March 20
Justice Ranjit Singh of the Punjab and Haryana High Court has issued notices to developers of 21 prominent projects, allegedly found not adhering to the deadlines for handing over the possession of property at Dharuhera in Gurgaon.

The builders include Parsavnath Developers Limited, Dwarkadhis Estate Private Limited, Ansal Properties, Pawan and Parveen Kumar of Raheja Developers.

They have been asked to show cause why costs and penalty should not be imposed on them for not adhering to the deadlines. The petitioner, M2K Infrastructure, had moved the high court against a lok adalat decision directing the company to refund Rs 5 lakh for not being able to deliver a dwelling unit.
