Postby umesh.prabhakar1965@rediffmail.com » Sat Mar 31, 2012 11:27 am

Hi Friends

After the pressure has been mounted on DGTCP by the GFWA,there has been an some positive outcome for the same.
The interest has been withdrawn,on enhanced EDC, for the period of 29 months i.e. for the period 10.01.2009 To 25.05.2011.

The official circular is attached herewith.

As per the tentative calculations made by one of the member of GFWA,in terms of amount being benefitted to two different categories,as follows:
1.High Rise Flat owner:Benefit as Rs 40/ per sq ft
2.Plot owner:Benefit as Rs 294/per Sq yds.

All those members who have already paid the enhanced EDC are supposed to demand an amount equivalent as per the nature of their unit by way of showing the Copy of the circular to the concerned coloniser.
Congratulations and Remain United with greater strength

Regards
Umesh Prabhakar

Thanks a lot, Umesh Ji for your visits to Chandigarh and attaching official circular for benefit of all forum/GFWA members. Letters are being sent to all private colonizers by DGTCP (Director General, Town and Country Planning) for enhanced EDC revisions and refunds.

Based on request recieved, attaching pdf file of circular. Members, please note that this is just a first milestone achievement of GFWA. This achievement will save around Rs 50,000/- for each plot/floor/flat holder. Next steps are even more tougher and we require support and strength of all members. GFWA is having an ongoing case in HIgh Court for complete reversal of enhanced EDC. Also, there are thousands of ongoing complaints, grievances pending with various authorities filed by GFWA. Currently, we ONLY have around 500 GFWA members from 2500 forum members. Request all forum members to become GFWA members. To become GFWA member, please follow this link:

Hi
Greetings

Its absolutely wonderful to find the circular which many builders are denying having received by them. :hap2:

It would be of utmost importance to ask builders to return the money, within reasonable time, before they mention that the said amount would be adjusted against any further demands of builder. I doubt if any builder will come forward of his own to clarify the figures.

Therefore, do bring forth and share the calculations, that should be sent to the builders by subscribers for refund. :yahoo:

Cheers

Postby hemantarora » Sat Mar 31, 2012 10:32 pm

Dear Umesh Ji/Dheeraj Ji/GFWA Team,

Many thanks to GFWA Team for following this up and getting this information. I have a flat in Piyush heights and prior to joining GFWA I had made the payment of Enhanced EDC @ Rs 140 per sq feet to Piyush Group in the month of December'11.

Now As mentioned by you For asking the refund of Rs 40 per square feet on enhanced EDC amount I want to write a letter to Piyush Group on which I need following advise:

1. Should I quote this PDF as reference(it is communication between HUDA and DTCP) or wait for Public notification from DTCP, when this notification is expected?

2. How to Calculate that this notification of extending the cut date will reduce charges by Rs 40/ per Sq Feet as mentioned by you.

3. What should be the Mode of Communication --> By Hand/ Speedpost or Registered Post. I have in past sent them 3-4 emails and two speedpost but never got any response. Even meeting them personally was not very effective as I could meet only their customer care Manager Who did not had any authority and their was no benefit going personally there.

Please advise on the above points so that I can raise these concerns.

People who have already paid enhanced EDC to Piyush can also respond as writing and meeting in groups will add more pressure to them.

Rgds,

Hi Hemant, currently, letters are being sent by DGTCP to all private colonizers. By next week, all colonizers should get these letters. We can definitely quote this circular while demanding refund. We can send speed post. Even if we do not get response, yet Speed post works. Recently, builder withdrew piped gas demand when receiving speed posts from many buyers.
