Notices for revisions and refunds for enhanced EDC sent to colonizers

GFWA is in receipt of notices for revisions and refunds for enhanced EDC sent to various colonizers for Group Housing Projects sent by Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP). This exposes various builders who are in denial mode. These letters also contain EDC calculations. Copy of these letters will be distributed exclusively to GFWA members on day of GFWA General Body Meeting. GFWA is also trying very hard to get copy of notices for plotted development projects also.

Great work.there is no parallel to the GFWA commitment.
Getting crucial info and using it to expose builder government nexus is the best way to shake the corrupt & insentative system to work.

There is no mention of SPR Buildtec. Does that mean they have not received letter from DTCP so far.............

Why other builders are not in the list?

Has SPR buildtech also received notice in this regard from DTCP? As SPR is not reflected in the list.

I am right now out side of india, and can not send a notice by post to RPS group on revised EDC refund. I am sure there are many guys like me, is there a way we can also take part to this drive and put pressure on builder for refund - or recalculate EDC (in case not deposit yet) balance amount?

I am sure without knocking the door builder will NOT give you money back.

This list does not cover all builders. GFWA is trying its best for getting notices for all builders in Greater Faridabad for all projects

I spoke to my Builder Piyush Group and they are saying they have not received any communication whatsoever regarding revision in EDC or any refund.

Same case with SRS royal hiils. Today i called them again and they are still denying that they have not received any letter.

However as suggested in their forum, i have sent them letters both in writing ( by registered mail) and email.

As expected no reply from them...................

Some good news for RPS members. I recd reply from RPS in which they have agreed to pay us the enhanced EDC once they are in receipt of the necessary communication from DTCP Chandigarh. Also committing on the possession as this year end for 2 BHK and 2+1 BHK.

Below is the reply :


Dear Sir,

This is with reference to your e-mail dated 17-04-2012.

As regards construction activities, the same are in progress at all towers and in many towers it is in advanced stage. As regards possession, we plan to start offering the same in a phased manner. Towers covering 2 BHK and 2+1 BHK category units is planned to be offered before end of year 2012 in phase I of possession. Possession in other towers will be offered thereafter on continuous basis.

As regards EDC, it is agreed that authorities have decided to revise the enhanced demand. However we are still to receive intimation from authorities in this regard. Necessary revision of demand/ rebate will be given to customers upon receipt of communication from DTCP, Chandigarh.
