Thanks for sharing earlier good news. I have flat with SPR Buildtech. For further communication and refernce with SPR,please send the soft copy of internal communication between HUDA and DGTCP which you had received to push the waiver from enhanced EDC.

Hi Rajeev/All, internal communication can't be shared externally. As posted earlier, please wait for public notification from TCP which is expected to come very soon and then exert pressure on builders for refunds.

Hi All, as you are aware that NCR planning board met after 30 months and important announcemnts were made (I had posted some news articles related to Faridabad). Chief ministers of all NCR states were present. GFWA had called up Town and Country Planning (TCP) Director General's office last week and came to know that he is very busy. So, since Planning Board meeting is now over, we very soon can expect notification of interest waiver to be issued by TCP.

Congrats ! BPTP has started acting on revised enhanced EDC. Please see post of Rajesh Kumar on IndiaSpaces.com on 28-Mar (yesterday) under Delay Possession. This is a good news for all of us. :) We should also start pushing our builders for revised enhanced EDC charges.

Basically, in this post BPTP buyer has posted a letter that he received from BPTP Customer Service. BPTP Customer Service has clearly told him that as per decision taken by competent authorities for Faridabad, enhanced EDC will be revised and then only offer of possession can be made to him.

Hi
Greetings

I believe currently two court cases pertaining to Enhanced EDC are in progress including the one by some builders association.

I have received a query (PM) from a customer on IREF, about some court order and subsequent Huda order for builders. This is as being quoted by BPTP in a communication with the customer.

"We would like to update you that a new court ruling has been received to us from HUDA and we are working on the revised calculations. Please note that the same will be informed to you accordingly and would request you to be ensured that any adjustment on account of revision in EEDC will be taken care of"

is it a court ruling?
is it about Retrospective interest only on Enhanced EDC?
any other dimension of such court order?

Awaiting your valuable comments

Cheers

This communication is being sent by BPTP Customer Service. Good thing to note here is that BPTP is working on revised calculations for enhanced EDC.

Answers to your questions.

It is not a court ruling
Yes, it is about Retrospective interest only on Enhanced EDC
No dimension. Actually, what happened was the notification from HUDA came on 5th March and our (GFWA) Court case hearing was on 6th March. So, this notification seems to get associated with our Court Case.

Hi,

I have not yet paid the EDC charges. The letter was issued to me on 19th Sep'11. RPS is asking to give the EDC + interest on EDC from 19th Sep'11 to till date @ 18% per annum.

I thought since legal case is already going on so I will wait till this gets resolved. Can anyone guide me on. Shall I pay the interest for the period I did not pay the EDC ?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me, Since I have not yet paid the increased EDC amount, therefore RPS is asking to not only pay the increased edc but also the interest for the period when RPS raised a letter for this demand till today @ 18% per annum.

Please give your advise.

Hello Meetu,

Have you sent the applicable letter to RPS as recommended in the GFWA section? If not, please download the letter from this topic and send it asap to RPS and concerned department after making appropiate changes.
