Legal Action Update against increase in EDC charges

Our (GFWA) case is listed for 17th May for final arguments. GFWA has planned to engage senior counsel for arguments. Typically, a senior counsel fees is from Rs 2 lakhs to Rs 10 lakhs. We are facing a kind of fund crunch currently. It is unfortunate that while we are having around 2500 members registered on forum but GFWA members are only around 700. I request members who are not GFWA members to become GFWA member and contribute in common cause. Membership fees is only Rs 500/-. Please follow this link for becoming a member

Case is listed now on 23rd May (Wednesday) for final arguments. For more updates regarding this case, please become GFWA member as GFWA is investing large funds in fighting this case. Membership fees is only Rs 500.

Is their any specific reason for shifting the dates? Since each time from March 2012 the date is keep on shifting.

Dear All

We have invested in KST Infrastructure's Whispering Heights project. It was promised to be ready in 2009 but till now, its not done. Meanwhile these EDC have come up. Seeing that the matter is sub judiced, we have not paid the EDC. Pls calrify why the dates are shifting so much and the matter is just getting delayed.

I will be paying the registration fee of 500/- in a couple of days , thats not an issue at all. But pls guide on this.
