Enhanced EDC Charges, Sector-63 Faridabad, Sai Vatika Apartments.

I have recieved demand of Rs. 195000/= as enhanced EDC at the rate of Rs150/sq.ft from Shiv Sai, Sai Vatika Apartments Sector-63, Faridabad. Is the rate per sq,ft demanded from the builder correct.

What is the licence year of project? Enhanced EDC rates are retrospective from year 2005 for sectors 66 to 89 ONLY as per notification from DTCP available at alert-t-cp-increase-edc-charges-in-greater-faridabad-t670.html. If licence date is before 2009, then no enhanced EDC rates should be applicable.

Enhanced EDC is not applicable since project is in:

1. Sector 63, Faridabad
2. Licence is in 2008

Meet with your builder and inform about these facts.

Hi Dheeraj, Do we have any other document for the ratio details as i am also having one flat in the same apartment.

Hi Manoj, as previously informed, Enhanced EDC is NOT applicable for your project since it is in Sector 63 and licence year is 2008. Enhanced EDC is applicable only for Sectors 66 to 89.
