Volunteer needed preferably from Faridabad to appear before HUDA administrator on 28th Dec

Dear All,

I recieved a letter from HUDA administrator, Faridabad to appear before him on 28th Dec, Tuesday at 11 AM in connection with RTI appeal for land acquisition. I am having important official work on Tuesday and it is 2.5 hours drive one side to reach Sector 12, Faridabad from my residence in Paschim Vihar.

If anyone preferably from Faridabad or having office in Faridabad can volunteer on behalf of me, then that will be great.

Please find attached scanned copy of letter (I have masked my address) and original RTI application. Please let me know by replying to this post or at my e-mail address below and I will send authorization letter for that person.

Please also understand that appearing for appeal is important as this RTI application was sent by me in August and it has been repeatedly forwarded to different departments without reply.

I got 0 replies and 0 responses. This is very unfortunate for a forum of 500+ members. I have contributed lot of money, time and energy throughout entire 2010 for development of Greater Faridabad. I have visited at least 15 times to Faridabad in this year due to follow ups with officials/RTI appeals/Meetings/Media Coverage etc. This time, I needed help due to important work at my office, but no one came forward. Don't think I am doing this for any moentary gain or benefit. This effort was for entire greater faridabad community including myself.

I can say that I failed. So, now onwards:

1. I will not be filing any RTI applications at least for next 3 months
2. I will be contributing to forum only when necessary.

This is really pity........ I think this is a festive season so most of the people are out of Station. I will sincerely request you to reconsider your decision as you are one of the pioneer of this movement.

Dheeraj, the community will lose immensely if you stop your participation. Do reconsider as most of the people are inexperienced and uncertain including me, and you are one of the most experienced member in this community.

I have joined the forum yesterday only (28th).

I dont know how much of help I can be as I have no experience of these things, but if you can let me know the details I can try to find out about the progress of your RTI application.

I live in Sector 28 Faridabad.
