Omaxe Heights residents undertake initiative to repair roads on own

Hello,

This Sunday i.e. 31st March 2013 OMAXE Height residents took initiative to repair on their own the road adjoining Agra canal coming from BPTP Bridge to Omaxe Height Gate.

All request to authority and politicains was not yielding the results.

Finally Residents decide to repair this with their personal efforts with whatever difference they can do for betterment.

Many People from Omaxe Height start early in the morning with Fawda Malwa e.t.c to fill the gaps in the roads, the gaps which could be fatal both for vehicle and person sitting in that.

As we say where there is will there is a way, contribution come not only from people but also from other means like road-rollers e.t.c to level the malwa.

when we work together from across the society it will not only give immediate solution but also
put pressure on authority to work for the need on priorities defined by public and not netas.

तीन दिन में खुद दुरुस्त कर ली सड़क

ग्रेटर फरीदाबाद में प्राइवेट बिल्डर्स द्वारा डिवेलप किए गए इलाके में लगभग 1500 परिवार रहने लगे हैं, लेकिन इन लोगों को मूलभूत सुविधाएं आज भी मुहैया नहीं हो रही हैं। बेहतर सड़क न होना भी इन लोगों के लिए परेशानी का कारण है। जिला प्रशासन के चक्कर लगाने के बाद लोगों ने बीपीटीपी पुल से सेक्टर 86 में एक प्राइवेट अपार्टमेंट तक खुद ही सड़क को रिपेयर करना शुरू किया था। लोगों ने शुक्रवार को सड़क के गड्ढे भर कर उसे समतल करने का काम शुरू किया था और रविवार को लगभग 2 किमी की सड़क के इस हिस्से में गड्ढे भरने का काम पूरा कर लिया।
सेक्टर-86 में एक प्राइवेट अपार्टमेंट में लगभग 700 परिवार रहते हैं। बेहतर सड़क न होने से इन लोगों को काफी दिक्कतें हो रही हैं। लोगों को अपने काम पर जाने के लिए या तो बीपीटीपी पुल तक आना पड़ता है या खेड़ी पुल की तरफ। लेकिन आगरा नहर के साथ दोनों तरफ के लिए सड़क की हालत काफी खस्ता है और सड़क में गड्ढे बने हुए हैं। इस सड़क को रिपेयर करने के लिए लोगों ने बार-बार हूडा अधिकारियों से गुहार लगाई, लेकिन किसी ने इनकी बात नहीं सुनी। ऐसे में यहां के रेजिडेंट्स ने खुद ही सड़क को रिपेयर करने का काम किया। इस अपार्टमेंट में रहने वाले मनोज दिवाकर ने बताया कि हम लोगों ने बीपीटीपी पुल से लेकर अपने अपार्टमेंट तक लगभग 2 किमी सड़क की मरम्मत कर दी है। हमने शुक्रवार को काम की शुरुआत की थी। उस दिन हमारे साथ लगभग 12 लोग थे। हमने उस दिन तीन घंटे काम किया। शनिवार को लोगों की संख्या ज्यादा हुई, उस दिन भी हमने लगभग साढ़े तीन घंटे काम किया। रविवार को लगभग 70 लोगों ने इस काम में हिस्सा लिया और काम को पूरा कर दिया। इन 70 लोगों मंे महिलाएं और बच्चे भी शामिल थे। सुबह 6:30 बजे से काम शुरू कर 12:30 बजे तक रोड के सारे गड्ढे भर दिए गए।
मनोज ने बताया कि सड़क के साथ काफी मलबा पड़ा हुआ था। हम सभी लोगों ने उस मलबे को उठा कर सड़क में बने गड्ढों में भर दिया। अब गाड़ी यहां पर आसानी से गुजर सकती है। इस मौके पर कार्तिक, आदिती, वेदांत आदि बच्चों के साथ निशिकांत विरमानी, नैना विरमानी, अंजू, सतीश, चित्रा गर्ग, आलोक भाटिया, आनंद, विवेक, सतीश गुप्ता, सीमा गुप्ता, शरद, अजीत सिंह, एस. के. सैनी, नीलम सैनी, श्याम ओहरी आदि लोग उपस्थित थे।
