RTI Exposes Cheating and Loot by Piyush Group for EDC in Faridabad

UPDATE: As per information dated 31-12-12, Piyush Group has paid around 23 crores of original EDC and NIL of enhanced EDC. Around 11 crores of original EDC outstanding and 18 crores of enhanced EDC outstanding. Please note that these amounts include penanty and interest for late payments

Hi All

You will be surprised to know that builder had demanded entire enhanced EDC amount to be payable by buyers in 15 days in 2011. And started charging 24% interest thereon. On Jan 03, 2013, our corrupt builder files an Affidavit before DGTCP that he will pay enhanced EDC amount in 4 installments quoting Govt. Policy (meaning by end of 2014) . This once again exposes corrupt and cheating practices of builder. PFA letter by builder and undertaking by means of Affidavit. I received this though RTI Reply

IDC: Entire amount of more than 2 crores settled by builder in 2007
