There is urgent meeting required by SRS Management for discussion on our apprehensions raised to them on last Sunday regarding final possession cum demand letter and other essential things.

Meeting Venue:-SRS site, Sector 88 Faridabad.

Date:-Friday 21st January 2011.
Time: 11 am.

Everyone presence is essentially required as this will indeed benefit each individual to address their concerns.

Guys, so please don’t mind to take half day off for your own hard money and for your own dream home.

The guys who have received the final demand cum possession letter for 26th January and those who came last Sunday in owners meeting, I must request and expect all of them to come for meeting.

Appellate body allows CCI to continue DLF probe - http://www.business-standard.com

The Competition Appellate Tribunal (Compat) today refused to stay the proceedings of the Competition Commission of India (CCI) against real estate major DLF and permitted the competition watchdog to go ahead with its inquiry.

Compat will hear the case on February 10.

Major issues to be resolved:-

1. Extension of final demand date beyond 26th Jan until work is completed in all aspects as per agreement.

2. Demanding Completion Certificate from competent authority.

3. Withdrawal of club membership charges as it was optional.

4. Penalty adjustment in final demand letter.

5. To ready basic amenities inside society.

Good News - SRS is NOT taking Club Charges as mandatory

Now All Bad news -

1) According to market feedback / rumors SRS is NOT getting OC before some time - ( maybe a month, maybe later ) SO NOW they are giving possession of 2 towers B2 &C9 ONLY by APR end.....

2) SRS is charging DELAY PENALTY for all payments u have already made ( if they have reached late even for a day ) + non payment of last demand - which was payable by 26th jan 2011 )

So what are we doing ??????........

let me first update ... we ( 4-5 of us - on behalf of all of us ) had visited 2 lawyers - one was even a Sr Supreme Court lawyer - to know our position legally...

but going by today's update that SRS is charging Interest for non payment of last demand - which was payable by 26th jan 2011- inspite of our letter regarding OC..... we need to act immediately

1) we are going to JIS Hajari Court tomorrow to meet a third lawyer

2) Suggestion - Need to register URGENT complaint against SRS with EOW - Economic Offence Wing - Delhi Police ( like already done against RPS group ) & update SEBI regarding the same

This is totally nonsense, how even without OC from Government Agency builder is offering possession of flats illegally and then trying to suppress our fundamental rights by asking interest!!

Do we think that we as middle class end users can’t speak for our own fundamental rights and have to be on mercy of them, I don’t think so?

We have to unite more firmly and do some action whether by meeting with STP official, filling complain in EOW or some other better suggestions from our fellow members.
Rajajee, it is not an individual fight, it is collective fight for individual rights.

Manish, since this is not a major financial fraud, going to EOW is not recommended. Meeting STP and HUDA administrator in Faridabad makes sense. You can go on any working day along with written complaint signed by group of people to meet them. Both sit in Sector 12, HUDA Complex, Faridabad. No prior appointment is required for meeting them. Just carry your visiting cards.

1. HUDA administrator (Mr. D.Suresh) is open for meeting with public 11 AM to 1 PM
2. STP (Town Planning) (Ms. Geeta Prakash) which is a monitoring body for builders is available in afternoon

Both of these officers are good and will listen to your concerns. STP has power to call builder and demand answers.

Thanks Dheeraj,Builder is also refusing to adjust or give any penality which is a substantial amont and taking in writing to forgive your rights while giving possessions...He is taking complete advantage of individual middle class end user needs ,in absence of any regulator penality refusal is common by every builder.......

For penalty amount, Mediation Center / Consumer Court can be approached. Mediation Center seems good choice.
