Re RPS meeting, about 60-70 people showed up, good attendance. If even more show up it will be better as then the RPS management will realize that not just 2-3 people are chasing them. They are under the impression (or claim that) only 2-3 people are concerned about getting the flats in a hurry and keep 'bothering' them, and no one else is, which is of course wrong... more information will be provided by the RPS group leaders...

Hello Friends

Here are the minutes of meeting held on 21st August

EDC Payment
→ Request RPS for extension on the EDC from RPS & also seek the clarification on the calculation of 131/-
→ Members decided to hold on payment of EDC charges.
→ EDC charged on 49 Acres, whereas the overall project size is now less than 35 acres
→RPS to justify the breakup of charges
→RPS license was canceled in 2009 due to non payment of EDC, RPS to confirm that they are not passing on the late payment interest charges to end customers

Action : We drafted a letter, This was carried by Rohit and Rajeev to RPS office on Monday 22nd August, Rajesh Jain accepted the letter, he did not gave any receiving, but promised to revert back by 25th. Letter attached.

Other Concerns Discussed
we discussed following concerns :
→ Group meeting should be allowed with RPS Management.
→ Penality Issue
→ RPS should share timelines to handover the towers (Flats)
→ Despite IDC payments, no work on Internal development
→ There is a case filed by group of consumers, possibly more people should gather and explore legal options

Savana Welfare Association
→ Need for Savana Welfare association, Official registration may take some time, as we need to decide upon what all activities can be carried by association, and what cases need to be taken at individual level.
→ There will be some subscription fee for association,
-> Majority of existing active members from RPS Savana, have already filed a case in national commission or are active member of GFWA.

I had written to the RPS Management for extension of time period for payment of EDC till the court decision is out.

I have recd the copy of the notification by the government on enhanced EDC. Attached herewith.

Excellent Dear Vijay Gopal. I understand that this enhancement in EDC is not applicable for us (RPS Savan Buyers) as RPS purchased land in 2005-2006 and our agreement with them is of 2006.
All are requested to read and offer their comments.

Akhilesh Ji, please read the fine print of EDC notification. EDC increase is retrospective for Greater Faridabad Area (Sectors 75 to 89) and applicable from 2005 onwards
