Postby anuj_bansal » Sun May 23, 2010 10:45 pm

RPS has put up a new master plan of Savana on their site. Its better that what is presently put up on the home page of this site. As per this they have taken care of the PLC of every apartment.

Guess RPS has started paying some heeds to the united strength of their customers, This plan indeed looks better... but we still need RPS to quantify the green areas.. and answer the concern raised on security by letting general public access with opening so many schools within the premises.

We may still need to be cautious and keep RPS under pressure if we want them not to make any sudden changes.

But in this new master plan there are a lot of changes from what was shown to us at the start (even from the master plan that is put on the home page of this website).
If you'll notice, they've introduced 1 creche, 1 primary school and 3 nursery schools. Even the internal beautification (with trees and water elements) that they proposed earlier have somewhat vanished. I guess they have now remodelled it in such a way so that they can escape returning back the PLC that we've paid.

Hi All,

This plan looks better in terms of saving on green space, but we had few recreation facilities like Badminton and Tennis courts, were they been sacrifised ?

regards,
Chaitan

RPS is not the only builder who has modified the master plan fooling the customers. I am currently located in Bangalore and this is the front page news of Bangalore Mirror today

Hi All,

In my opinion there is no change of plan as far as their initial planning is concerned. They have now shown us which they had originally thought but kept the school thing as secret. Its not because of regulatory compliance either as they claim.

In some cases in noida the builders have introduced a new building where they mentioned park initially and people bought originally due to less loading.

In my opinion , the builders will not stop until a real estate regulatory authority is in place and strict norms are created. But even that will not help much unless customers are not showing awareness as if you see in insurance domain even when SEBI and IRDA is there , the sales team of various companies is able to mis sell their plans.

I am curious to know one thing . The brochure that they show can act as a legal document or not?

Thanks,
Gaurav
