I am new member of this forum. I have booked a flat in Puri - Pranayam and received an email from Puri Construction demanding increased EDC till Nov 05, 2011. As currently I am not in Faridabad, therefore I was looking for online forum and could found this wonderful plateform.

They haven't sent you the EDC notification sent to them by DGTC. Did your letter ask for it? Pl ask them for the same. Let's wait for few days and see responses received by other members also.
As next step, we should push them to defer the same. We will have to come up with a collective strategy.

Letter by Saraswati has been very well drafted. However, I would like to add the following line -
"You would agree that no development has been done by HUDA in the Nehar paar area inspite of collecting crores of rupees as EDC charges. In view of this you are also requested to lodge a protest with HUDA for charging enhanced EDC charges which is substantially high as compared to EDC charges in other cities of Haryana".

I would not like to take any credit for drafting of letter. The letter was forwarded to me by core team. I have merely extended it to everyone.

Amitabh: you have a very valid point. I think we will need to seek a personal meeting with Puri because they have started sending the responses to member's letter.
Let us get more thoughts and work on how to take this forward. 5th Nov is our date and I am sure no one is either ready or can arrange for funds so soon.

Dear Members,

So far I have received the details from 8 members only. I request other silent Pranayam members to come forward and share their details.

This is important for our current and future strategies. Needless to say that now when Puri Constructions has started replying us with a standard format, we all should unite and meet Mr. Puri so in order to keep everyone informed about the latest development, we should have a centralized database.

Ms. Saraswati: I guess walking upto Mr. Puri's office would be our last resort to defer the payment for EDC.
