Development in Neharpar Now Revised to 2017

Dear All,

I have received very important RTI reply directly from office of Administrator, HUDA, Faridabad. It says estimates have again been revised and now completion of EDC works are till END OF 2017 and that too is tentative and subject to land being acquired.

Another 4 years have been added to previous schedule which says another 3 years for land aquisition and 1 year extra buffer in schedules.

Please find attached scanned copy of RTI reply. Please feel free to distribute among future residents of Neharpar

I think only option left with us now are MEDIA and LEGAL ACTION.

Surprising

In this era of modernization and technology, it is shocking to learn that for simple development of roads, sewerage, water lines, the government ask for 7 years time, and ironically that they keep increasing whenever you ask them for new timelines. Whether or not the builders operating in these sectors, were/are, aware of these timelines is the question to be asked.

But legal action against whom ? Government !! Builders !!
I feel this needs to be a joint effort, which needs to be taken up by all the prospective residents, owners, builders of the new sectors, to push these government departments to work in synchronization with the possession timelines committed by the builders.

Thanks Dheeraj for your efforts. Even though it is disheartening news, we must still not lose hope.

Dheeraj is trying to make a difference and we must all try to do the same. Dheeraj, any idea if anyone has filed an RTI to find out about the EDC/IDC charges collected by HUDA for that area?

Do not worry guys.....RPS is on an existing road an no land is to be acquired in connecting sector 88 to main faridabad. But the main issue is other amenities. First someone should clear what exactly comes under IDC and EDC.

Will it help if people from different residential colonies visit the local MLA/politician with our grievances? Neharpar area is a potential huge vote bank for them.

I will seek more clarifications from HUDA regarding these estimates as this looks unrealistic and out of senses. I agree with Rajat that if development has to be done in that area, then builders and residents should come together in big numbers to force Govt. Agencies to work.

Hi

I suggest everyone on this forum sends this RTI response, from HUDA, to their respective builders in form of e-mail, letters, fax and ask them for their response.

With multiple queries coming on the same issue, the builders will be forced to response.
I have already done the same.

I think we should have a meeting to discuss all the issues and further course of action.

its not necessarly to fix venue at SAVANA site or RPS office, we can meet at any convienent place Delhi / Faridabad.

HUDA has clarified that 2017 was the original estimate planned by them and that got revised from Chandigarh office to end of 2013.

So, final estimate for development of Neharpar is end of 2013

As per the RTI Possesson ol land sld be completed by March 2010no now we are approaching July 2010, do you have any knowledge whether possession has been completed or not?

If not then this time line has no meaning, jus making us fool. Is there any way we can file an PIL agains HUDA for cheating us of more than 1000 crores of rupees which they have colleced as EDC and IDC way back in 2006.

As per my knowledge, HUDA tried land acquisition but failed because of farmers protests and politics. Regarding PIL, I don't have an idea of how it is filed. But, I think we have to show our collective strength in some way or another so that politicians and authorties are pressurized to do something.
