RTI against HUDA for EDC

I was thinking about filing RTI against HUDA for excess EDC charge by developers as developers are taking plea that they are charging EDC as per HUDA memo. Therefore, we are liable to pay as much as much HUDA has stated and if the developer is charging more in contravention of the HUDA memo then both HUDA & the developer are at fault.

Please check this section: www.myfaridabad.in/forum/rti-section.html . We are already having various RTIs and we are consistently following RTIs both in Faridabad and Chandigarh. But, we are getting very bad/irrelevent responses or no responses at all. Whatever the media hype may be, RTI is a weak legislation. We need a strong Lokpal Bill for taking action against Govt. officials. Personally, I feel people should join Anna Hazare's protest (at least forum members in Mumbai) from 27th Dec. for strong Lokpal
