The government has constituted a five-member committee to probe the scam. The high court has also asked Huda chief administrator AK Singh to file a status report by December 4 after investigating the allocation of plots among members of reserved categories.Singh had told the courtthatitwouldtake nearly six months to probe the links and promised action against the Huda officials who are found guilty.
Lidon thescam wasblown during hearing on a bail plea, filed by Hisar resident Dharam Singh Yadav against whom Huda hadstartedcriminal proceedings for violating the rules to get the plot.He submitted a list of 36 persons belonging to the ex-servicemen category who were also allotted plots in the same way.
