NOIDA: A 29-year-old businessman’s body was found in the rear seat of his car on Wednesday morning.

“When Pradeep Bhati, a resident of Bisrakh in Greater Noida, did not return, his family started looking for him,” said Vishwajeet Srivastava, DSP, Noida. His family said that he had left on Tuesday afternoon after receiving a phone call.

“Bhati had deep wounds on his head. It appears as if he died after being hit with a blunt and heavy object. His WagonR was then driven to a lonely spot on the Hindon Pushta near Parthala Khanjarpur village in Noida and abandoned,” the DSP said.

An FIR has been registered and police are investigating the matter.
