ORDER
It has been observed that during the period of leave or transfer of any STP/DTP who also stands designated as SPIO the RTI applications are not disposed off within the stipulated period due to which a lot of appeals before 1st Appellate Authority and State Information Commission are filed, causing inconvenience to public and diversion of the resources of the Department and loss of valuable time in personal appearances in such cases by the concerned SPIOs. In order to dispose off the RTI applications quickly, the Assistant Town Planner(s) working at directorate as well as in the field offices are appointed as Assistant Public Information Officer who shall dispose off RTI applications in the absence of the concerned SPIO.
